the casting in this show was fine for the tone they were going for. the tone itself was too goofy though, but admittedly it made it a fun show to watch even if its kinda dumb. i think this shows biggest issues were the pre-war plotlines and some of the episodes being kinda nothing

He was born in the vault. The real question is who's rations is he stealing to maintain his immenseness? Either he's abusing whatever power he has to get extra food, or he's just straight up stealing extra food. Either situation tracks, considering his skin tone.

eh, the tone is fun in the games too, but there's no real thought given to how most of the world works, or how people like the first survivor the frog lady meets had actually made it up to that point. it's a world that operates on silly cartoon logic. it works, because the show establishes itself as a cartoon, but it's not quite the tone of the games.

fallout 1 was kinda all over the place when it came to tone because it was made by a small team shoving all their ideas into one game, but they made an attempt to make everything internally consistent and have some verisimilitude in regards to how the world worked.

but desu it's dumb to expect them to match the tone of the games exactly. the games are made up of 40 hour adventures, not 50 minute episodes.
