It tries to portray the story objectivelly, obviously it's based on memories and from the seals pov so cannot be truly objective. However it shows the whole mission as completely pointless, they held a family hostage, destroyed their house, bled on their floors, terrified the neighbourhood and left without achieving anything. They also ditched their dead translator on the street.
