Look at it this way anon. Movies cost a lot of money to make, every minute on set, every inch of film has a cost. And when the director screams "action" then everyone shuts thr fuck up and focuses on the stage.
If you're trying to be in character and read lines, and theres some clown distracting the talent on camera thats a big deal.
If a crew member is walking around or goofing off in the actor's eyeline and causing them to blow takes then that is wasting everyones time and money.
If you're going to shit down someone's neck on set, thats a justifiable reason.
