I am the intended audience for this show, white trash/redneck/low life/etc. We view our women as ride or die. And they view themselves the same. None of our women would have ever thought to disrespect us like she does her husband. The denial of sex, cheating, etc. are viewed as worse than anything that Walter did to us and our women. Because us and our women can understand that Walter would do anything for his family. Yes, Walter was doing it just for himself in the show. But that is the fiction part. In real life all our meth dealing and making family and acquaintances are doing it for their family. So, yes. She was hated for logical and cultural reasons.
