No Yellowjackets thred?
I know the episode leaked a few days ago but it officially aired today.

Why is almost everyone in this show so fucking annoying?

Because it's a badly written show. Possibly the most precipitous drop in quality ever.

hack writers

I heard that the older versions should just be cut out entirely because it brings the show to a screeching halt

or kill old Shauna

they hired a bunch of women writers for season 2

hire women writers

they immediately fuck up and contradict any established plot

buzzmp

shit starts going downhill when the networks bring in writers for every second season cause the creators never planned anything past the first one, so you get a bunch of already hack feminists, fags and DEI writer's room who also have a green light to insert any current year bullshit they want and the creators don't even bother confronting them cause they already got their paycheck anyways

S2 wasn't great, but it really fell off in S3. It takes a lot to get me to give up on a show especially if the cast is cute but I think they managed to do it.

Soapy is so fucking hot it's unreal. I want to BREED

That is the most generic "hot early 20-something" female body ive ever seen.

It's a really fucking dumb plot and the entire thing is boring.

most generic "hot early 20-something" female body

well there's a reason they cast her as Misty, she's also the only one they don't show in a bikini at the lake scene exactly cause of that

She's 29

It wouldn't fit the character. They didn't show Laura Lee, either.

lottie dies

doesn't see her crush in the afterlife

This is how I know these new writers didn't watch previous seasons.

It wouldn't fit the character.

Yup, sad that Misty was originally allowed to be pretty cute though until Ricci was cast and they did they brown contacts thing.

I figured she was cast first like Lynskey that's why the youngers have to wear contacts whereas the Tai adult has to wear them because they cast Brown first.

Nah Sammi was cast first, probably before the rest of the whole cast even. In an interview she said she was the only one from the eventual cast that was part of the filming of the pilot intro in the snow with the spike pit, everyone else were locals they dressed up for the dinner scene.
Probably Ricci wouldn't budge with the contacts so Sammi said fuck it, I rather wear contacts than lose the part.

Doesn't mean anything, anon. That was filmed in California and she's the only member of the young cast that lives there.

The queen is dead and bogged.
Never let evil take root.

nat

queen

LOL Deserved to be killed for hiding the guy who tried to murder them all.

Nat not being fucked by her dad was a cop out

the guy who tried to murder them all

what are you talking about, Ben was already retconned into Gay Jesus by the DEI writers' room, get with the times

There's still time for redemption.

steven in s2: did ben do it?

writers: are you kidding? of course he did.

later...maybe not!

but you clearly showed him outside with a box of matches and all the motivation in the world and there's no one else who could have

dude, huge fires just start at every exit sometimes and the doors randomly stuck shut, deal with it

I really hate that this is becoming more accepted. pit, leg, and facial hair does not belong on women.

I just watched a video from one of them. Apparently the actually glue it on the character because she does shave her pits. Odd.

You can't redeem buccal fat anon

It's because brown contacts look more natural than blue or green.

I can save her. She just needs a few cheeseburgers.

Is that soapy? Holy fuck, she got a total face transplant if so.

Why did adult Travis kill himselfm
What is the symbol in the wilderness and who carved it all over the place ?

damn bitch save some air for the rest of us

yup, sad shit

I still cry

Why did adult Travis kill himselfm

so he could get close enough to death and speak with the entity but it just killed him by making the lift malfucntion and Lottie couldn't save him

What is the symbol in the wilderness and who carved it all over the place ?

supposed to have been the cabin guy trying to imprison the entity in the forest by putting it under a spell or something, he carved those things in the trees to form a big symbol like a protective barrier but he couldn't leave the forest either
they'll probably retcon it or not even explain it judging from the quality of the writing room since season 2

He didn't. I refuse to believe that bullshit. It makes no sense no matter how you look at it.

Piggy

supposed to have been the cabin guy trying to imprison the entity in the forest by putting it under a spell or something, he carved those things in the trees to form a big symbol like a protective barrier but he couldn't leave the forest either

That's a pretty good explanation, anon. When the cabin burned down, it was set free.

Eating your dead lover's heart isn't really romantic. You're just going to shit it out later.

I figured the point was to show it was still that dark!Tai thing and not the real one. But who knows. There was a scene in one of the trailers where Tai was being held down and some black goo forced into her mouth but it was cut out.

Because Travis should have been killed in the woods but they fucked up by having him alive and realized too late so he just sorta kills himself through stupidity

they fucked up by having him alive

They fucked by up using the adult timeline for dumb shit like whodunnits instead of investigating the lore from the woods from a different perspective. 3 seasons and the closest they got was Lottie's unhinged dialogue in the last episode.

None of the team has paid any respect to Jackie for keeping a sociopath docile and controlled for 17 years

That's a pretty good explanation, anon.

Thanks but who know what garbage they write about him in the end.

When the cabin burned down, it was set free.

In my headcanon it's supposed to need a host and that's how cabin guy took it with him to a remote forest flying there with his plane so he could imprison it as far away as possible but since he's the host he can't leave either the forest prison either(like what the girls said about his plane in season 1).
And since the entity is weak from being imprisoned it needs the girls to spill blood in its name and in exchange it feeds them until it becomes strong enough to break the spell and leave with them as its host. The cabin burning like you said would've been cool if explained as the entity tricking and driving Ben angry enough at the girls into doing it to weaken the spell.
Also the animals stopping them from leaving like the wolves attacking them in season 1 I would've explained as the forest prison stopping them from helping the entity escape since they're its host.
Wish they'd have scrapped a large part of the adult shit and just given the screen time to cabin guy honestly.

That actually fits with something Krueger said about Ben burning the cabin while being in a kind of trance. The lore of the cabin is meant to be Shining like according to the writers.

I don't know about taking it there. I imagine he found it. Originally in S2 the girls were supposed to find odd things in the cabin like the wife's diary detailing how she also lost her children there and seemingly started to go insane like Shauna. The script for Burial suggests as much.

For what it's worth, they do cut in the symbol imprinted on the cabin as it burned in the flashback. I figure either the fire set it free or maybe when Laura Lee removed one of the symbols off the floor in S1.

Where can I read about that?
I remember about some leaks back when we were watching season 1 about the cabin guy's children dying but I imagined that would've happened outside the forest and that's what made him take the entity there. Anyways if he found it there and it killed his children and wife after taking them as hosts and forcing him to imprison it it would be cool too and give it some more mystery about where it came from that would be a bit harder to do if he found it in civilization.

Imagining exiting your goon cave and seeing this.

Laura Lee's smugness would intimidate me.

I remember watchign the first episode, it seemed like a Stranger Things meets Lord of the Flys but with girls vibe

is it basically Cruel Summer 2.0?
