I hate everytime they try to make it look like the manga, the proportions always end up looking fucked up and ugly in a way the manga never did. Part 1 and 2 didn't really look like manga at all but it wasn't downright ugly.

I mean one of the protagonists gets overly emotional about his hair and there was a physical gag in part 3 that was "haha these two men look like they're having sex" but even the gayest-looking relationship (DIO and Pucci) was confirmed by Araki to not be sexual at all. A lot of it is just fujos projecting their fantasies on the show, so if you're transfixed on the gay shit that is kinda on you.

I agree that part 5 is weak, but I came from finishing part 4 and all the episodes were out so I marathoned it, even though I had very little interest on it. As you have said, the characters of part 5 are so forgetable

I should've worded it differently, citing the actual fights rather than the stands themselves. Most users are throwaways. There were plenty of meh stand fights in every part, but the only remotely bad fight in part 5 was the computer keyboard one, which I completely forgot the name of.
