/hor/ - Horror General
Hello hor…
Yay or nay, bros?
I appreciate this giving you the sense, however brief, that the house actually is quite creepy and spooky
Though that could just be the viewer's imagination running wild during commercial breaks
Sir we have his hard drive. We'll get on a piracy charge.
Uhh captain... these films... every one of them is public domain!
That wiley sonofa...
It's surprising the amount of movies that are in the public domain just because somebody fucked up the copyright filing
some anon swore by this recently, putting it on.
tfw i'll never go back in time and eat Venetia Stevenson's ass
calm down unc
That movie is from 1960 I don't think unc applies anymore
looks like Chris Columbus is writing it too which is good news if he can pull of something similar to the first.
My mom's family lived in Pittsburgh when this was being filmed. A couple of their neighbors were zombie extras.

God knows I couldn't agree more with you. It really comes out of nowhere and ends fairly abruptly too. I find that to be part of the batshit charm of 70s/80s Argento though.
Originally Clamp was just going to be another boring asshole but then they changed their mind and just made him a heartfelt goofy retard and it was the best decision possible
Tonight's /hor/ theme is... CARRION DEATH

I’m really proud of the script (For Gremlins 3),” Columbus said in 2017. “It is as twisted and dark as anything, so we’ll see
I wanted to go back to the really twisted sensibility of the first movie. I found that was a very easy place for me to fall back into and start writing again so hopefully we’ll see that movie soon
I mean, Gremlins 1 wasn't particularly dark and it did go all out into comedy after the Futtermans get truck'd
I guess if he means the original script then sure since Gremlins were supposed to be like Critters and actually eat people but I highly doubt they'd have the balls for that, at most it'll just have some jumpscare scenes until it goes back to comedy
It was more dark in terms of killing the gremlins than any person in the film.
The gremlins themselves suffer way more in the sequel if we're going by that and how they get killed
this was so god damn horny
For me it's watching it as a kid and not getting this scene at all
That's pretty cool. I can imagine their reaction to this low budget podunk horror film turning into one of the most well known and seminal horror films ever made
Billy's daughter should be one of the protagonists tбh
Any torrent for Desert Fiends yet?
The Santa chimney death story was more traumatizing and morbid than anything else in the film.
How is that new Home Sweet Home movie?
lets just nap here outside this haunted castle
youtube.com
looks like cgi slop. I guess that's a lot of people's thing.
looks cozy
Watching it right now. It is pretty good so far. More pro-american/white than Hollywood films. lmfao.
They let the white guy play super american police. Even Hollywood films dont let them happen. lol.
lmfao.
lol.
Somehow your blogposting is gayer than your spamming.
What do you think the highest grossing horror film will be? M3GAN? Final Destination? FNAF2?
Out of those, FNAF even though I thought the first one was one of the dumbest pieces of shit I ever saw with completely nonsensical writing.
First time posting here.
Watching Home Sweet Home Rebirth right now. Loving the tone. It is so comfy not seeing a diversity checklist in a movie. No strong manjawed middle aged girl bosses and no grinning intelligent do-no-harm friendly looking black. No couples in the movie that are divorced or on the brink of divorce. Feels like an actual movie.
I dont know wtf youre talking about. This is /hor/ horror general, no?
Yeah it is the horror general. Thanks for discussing horror. Ignore the other guy. Welcome to /hor/ btw
embarrassing.
This is a Lowlifes general
Lowlifes_8
how many do you have?
It's been a while, but I remember not liking it as much as the original.
I'm going to have to watch both again soon.
BLEH
More than you, cuck
Youre not the only poster in here.
Kind of hostile bro.
Bleh
This movie still does something to me.
Species vs. Subspecies, who wins
I actually meant to post a poster of the first movie.
We dont take kindly to cucks around here
cutest girl in your roster
keep killing her off in the first act
Species
What a cutie.
You sir are based
I love lesbians.
No maam, we do not. This is a cuck free zone.
Even just funny girl/girl stuff is kino.
Thanks. The movie is pretty good. Could have made the scene where he decided to play hero a little better. It was a little too heroic try hard.
IIM CUMMMMMMMINNNGGGGG
Mid April check in. There is still no release date for this film.
WATCH RED ROOMS
Watching Saw with my mom tomorrow night.

Not very fun fact: she’s the voice actress for Max Payne’s dead wife in the first game
They made her older in the sequel kek
roadties probably got mad cause seeing a young girl android made them jealous and seething
objectively you sound like you're seething
You just know this is why and what happened. All the 30 plus year old femoids felt insecure with themselves during Megan 1.
It's literally because the actress who played Megan was a child who grew since the movie was filmed
Bleh
And she was jealous she aged and the robot didnt.
Every fucking time lmao
I wonder what rating this one will get. It could use some actual kills.
You're talking about a kid you freak. Either way the sequel looks ridiculous.
I'm pretty sure the first one had actual kills but they cut it down to secure a PG-13 rating.
She is a child actress, aging poorly could possibly ruin her career like it did millie bobby, foid.
You should see a psychologist about your aging fixation.
retard
Pretty good sci-fi horror. I can see how this had a huge influence on John Carpenter.
Also reminds me of another favorite of mine, The Incredible Melting Man
The sci-fi films from the 50s/60s definitely feel like they have a horror crossover because of all the monsters and aliens that may as well be monsters. Will check it out.
Meh.
I'm watching for my Ukrainian waifu

Definitely. They also seemed to think plants were the weirdest thing imaginable. Lots of plant-based aliens.
I bet he already looks 40 at 18 which is why he never shuts up about aging. Projection and mental illness feeding into each other.

the science of those films are fun because they're like high school science lessons. in modern films (and life really) science and magic are basically indistinguishable.
Dont forget the “emotional support” canine
kek
alright finished The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
as it finished I thought, well that was kind of a boring ending. and then in the credit sequence it says it was based on a real event which both explains it and is a fucking downer.
exact same thing as Conjuring 3 - I enjoy a good supernatural trial horror but when the credits sequence lets you know this was based on an actual death involving some religious nutcase who should definitely be in prison.
the conjuring one is way worse because he absolutely definitely did do it and the piece of shit warrens tried to make a big deal out of it and take his side because it fit into their evangelical fearmongering
not that it makes them look much better in the movie where they just sort of uh forget about him, go on some other side quest, act smug to the police then never actually solve anything then leave
yeah imagine being the family members of the person who was killed lmao.
I haven't seen this since it came out, but I remember it being one of those movies that rests on the actress' performance, which in this case is just having her go "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" and act retarded, and there was nothing else to the movie
yeah kind of felt like a SVU episode or something outside of her.
they were some impressive aaaaahhhhs though.
while I'm here, how is The Possession of Michael King?
good
bad
i dont think ive seen a good movie with possession in the title aside from Possession
the meagan movie kinda creeps me out, might be uncanny valley
masterpiece
