OH N-

janny mad lol

This is the type of scene that was immediately immortalized in the cultural conscience

What's going on?

How did they do that? It was just a schlocky horror movie. Now it feels like no movie after avengers endgame will have this effect.

This happened to me irl but the log was smaller and got stopped by my windshield.

Tfw you notice drivers get far away from log trucks ever since this movie

This happened to me irl but my arms were bigger than a logs so i just caught it and pushed it into the other lane.

i never drive behind trucks with loads like this, same with dump trucks

reminder that this literally happened to the director of The Parallax View and All The President’s Men

Just looking at that static image is making me shit myself in fear.

I purposely drive behind these to get rid of the stigma that this scene made everyone afraid of log trucks

mobile

someone didn't check their straps. sad

That was expert framing. loved this shot

me too, I also walk alone at night through black neighborhoods

theres something phallic about the log

Die pedo

I would've liked 2 more if it wasn't so lazily written.

uh, time to move the plot forward, better give the main character a convenient vision that tells them what to do next!

I have a bully at school (Jake, grr what a d*ck) teach me to beat him up!

Someone is about to eat a fat log.

oh no

RIPPEN

the guy has a perfect ski jump form right there

i think it was a case of everyone subconsciously thinking 'what if...?' then this movie came out and put everyone's unspoken fear on the big screen

Because it visualized an existent and common intrusive thought.

the delay before the shockwave blasts the window was a nice touch. wait, did that even happen in this movie or am i misremembering?

WE GAAN-

Same, I never trust my life with the comptentancy of beaner loaders

Why did only one of these movies have nudity?

The Final Destination movies (or the first two, at any rate) were on basically every weekend on a bunch of tv channels. Many movies became ingrained in the cultural consciousness this way, because at some point everyone from every possible walk of life turned on the tv and vegged out for an afternoon watching whatever was playing.

But now that streaming exists, we've lost that entirely.

Damn, now every time I drive past a flat deck trailer hauling full logs chained down with no side bars I get all paranoid.

phonefaggot

kys

I avoid them everytime and think about this exact scene. Checked

That's why I take nigger dick in my ass to get rid of the stigma about gay people having AIDS

Im personally paranoid of flatbeds, the bed is conveniently placed in such a way that if i rear ended one my head would be sliced in half

I know stuff like this isn’t uncommon, but I’m amazed I don’t see the streets littered with bodies on my drive home from work everyday.

10 push ups a day

Has it worked yet?

when the Karate Tree hits back

Yeah the stigma is dead

Kiss him on the lips. That'll show him.

That happened to Jayne Mansfield so they added the bar under the truck to stop it from happening again.

Nope is such an overrated movie, but the opening was really good for the way it depicted this kind of tragedy
