Anecdotally, I use my rice cooker all the time and got rid of my air fryer because I never made anything with it.

It's one less thing to worry about while I'm doing the rest of my meal and it cooks the rice consistently every time.

That’s how I felt too, but stove cooking rice takes some amount of attention. My roommate kept burning his rice because he wouldn’t watch it. The appliance is foolproof, takes almost no effort.
