Terminator: Salvation

Finally make a film about the future war

Christian Bale as John Connor

Wow. Instant billion dollar film. No way to fuck this up.

Future war no longer as the 1980s future aesthetic. Instead, its just Iraq.

Not even laser/plasma guns. Just modern day tacticool shit

Most of the enemies aren't even Terminators. Just generic scifi drone things

John Connor is a side character

Leaked backstage meltdown kills Bale's career

How do fuckups like this happen? What is the job of a producer if not to slap retards suggesting things like this?

That is placed in the period when John Connor is still building himself up, humanity is still getting organized and there are not T800s yet, also not laser guns yet.
It should have been followed for more movies transitioning to the 80s future aesthetic.

Leaked backstage meltdown

was bale really thinking he was doing some kind of respected movie while filming this garbage?
i mean there is no shame in doing shitty work if the pay is good but in his meltdown he acts like he is in the thick of filming a new citizen kane

we were robbed

And it was still better than genisys

Check the director, his movies before and after. Check the writers, their works before and after. The movie is a product of a dying company trying to get some easy cash and relying in "the guy from batman" and the "next big action star" (only in cameron fantasy mind).

Wow. Good for youuu.

That movie gave us that rant by Bale. So it was worth it.

Don't forget most of it took place in daytime. Instead of lasers that light up the night.

1980s future aesthetic

Do you mean the most overrated aesthetics ever? Alongside the medieval french-german ones for high fantasy.

The only bad Terminator movies are the two PG-13 rated ones. Everything else is decent or above

Wasn't the 2nd one PG-13? There's probably only one 'fuck' in it.

I remember being so fucking bored during this except for the 5 seconds where they have cgi arnold show up and the classic theme comes on and for just this one brief moment the movie wasnt completely terrible

T2 is rated R in the US

No, T2 is R, more for violence than language. For stuff like the security guard getting stabbed through the eye, and Arnold cutting and ripping his arm flesh off

I think it was explained that he was doing the douchey “method actor” shit.

The one that everyone enjoys while you sit in the corner with your arms crossed and pout about, because you think that being a contrarian is a substitute for a personality.

Sir, we need a breathing cardboard cutout with ample screentime who doesn't affect the movie in any shape of form.

Say no more!

Terminator Resistance showed how it was meant to be done. It did all these things right. Perfect 80's dark aesthetic fighting scary skull terminators and giant tank HKs. Plus you work your way up to getting neon purple plasma rifles in the 40 watt range.

This was the real most disappointing Terminator movie.

>Future war no longer as the 1980s future aesthetic

In the original the future was just grey rubble and dirty people, there was no "1980s future aesthetic"

Every thing after 3 was horrible

Hollywood overused because "muh 80s nostalgia" + they're lazy bastards

actually everyone like it, you're a chud

Ok, fag.

*After 2
FTFY

The story is finished, dummy. Of course, it's going to be horrible. They're just making shit up because you keep demanding more to a finished narrative.

let alone Dark Fate

Future war no longer as the 1980s future aesthetic. Instead, its just Iraq

This was the worst part. Zero fucking style anywhere to be seen during that entire movie. I can't even remember a single interesting shot in that piece of shit.

Thing is, they looked bad from the get go, this one had the potential to be good.

You need to kill yourself immediately.

and it had hot vidya titties

after 1

fixed ur fix m8

No and there is no saving you if you think so.

True and Jason Clarke is arguably the best version of John Connor in the franchise (at least in those early scenes before he gets infected with the nano bullshit and it goes off the rails).
No other version gives a sense of him being a charismatic leader that people would want to follow, as he does.

super strong and durable killer machine

catch human, could snap their neck like a toothpick

haha time to throw him and chase some more

Did Resistance pilot Blair Williams look badass?

Future war no longer as the 1980s future aesthetic. Instead, its just Iraq.

Not even laser/plasma guns. Just modern day tacticool shit

It was made in 2009. You're clueless if you expected anything different from a piss filter 360 game.

That is placed in the period when John Connor is still building himself up

they didn't get to the meat of story then. they picked meh plotlines to focus on

Yeah that's nice and all but unless there's a Terminatrix romantic interest i don't care anymore

It was FUCKING distracting

Yeah that’s a mistake
But I recall they wanted to make it a trilogy for some bizarre reason

I was shocked to find out she does OnlyFans

A prototype for Rings Of Power's formula
