I'm a burger who visited the UK in 2019. London was fine, and whiter than you'd expect, has a bit of a "NYC energy" feel to it.
Cornwall and Scotland were beautiful, and Newcastle was fun to just walk around and screw around in during the day and night. The kids there party hard -- running out of the pub/club to puke or piss on the sidewalk.
The memes about Britslop are not true-- the food was great. In general the beef is better quality than American beef, so definitely get some meat pies / pasties, especially in Cornwall. Doing a Scotch distillery "tour" is also really fun. Nothing like 20 yo Scotch drawn straight from a barrel -- so "Scotchy" you won't want to have any more Scotch for days. All in all, really like it there, doesn't seem as bad as the memes make it out to be. And the women were better looking than memes would make you expect too.
