There are two types of gypsies, there are Romani gypsies who are the brown ones from Romania who beg and steal in the big cities. And there are the other ones who are inbred white people from Ireland living in caravans that pave old peoples driveways and cut down their trees without asking them and them intimidate them into paying astronomical fees for doing it. They also just kind of show up to your local park in their caravans, shit in the bushes and refuse to leave.

most of them finally left our area after they killed some lad who was inexplicably popular in his village (the next one along from mine) and the local men finally started going out looking to get revenge on the gypos. i didn't know this lad but the entire borough clogged up with traffic for some massive funeral parade through his village all day. maybe just a big deal because he got hacked to death with machetes on a public street but seemed really over the top.
rumour has it he was dealing with gypos, i'm guessing drugs, and didn't pay them or something so not exactly the cleverest lad.
they had a huge camp, i hate to say it, but LITERALLY next to a police station, the police would pretty much go past it to work every single day. they tried to get them to leave but the gypos somehow got a councillor to argue on their behalf at parliament (most likely in typical gypsy fashion found their address and made comments about how nice their mercedes was and how it'd be a shame if anything happened to it). the gypsies got given one year to vacate the area.
the gypsies spent their year turning the area into fucking home alone meets the orcs from skyrim.
at least they're gone now.
