That's not enough. It gets boring fultoning soldiers for the 400th time or having to defend the shitty base, or to unlock some slight upgrade only to have the suppressor break after 3 shots. All for no story and barely any atmosphere. There wasn't even a giant mech that was memorable. It felt hollow and like a waste of time. More like an online game that's trying to hook you into an addictive gameplay loop. Not a fan of that.

Also it suffered big time from not having any large indoor areas. Everything was outdoors. MGS is about infiltrating sprawling military complexes and bases imo. All the outposts felt generic and copy paste. Wasn't even that open world because the terrain and mountains just corralled the player. Not to mention the annoying helicopter load sequence.
