Not really, but the thinking about it and living with others who get it seems to be worse than the actual experience itself. It is really a cruel, cruel thing. You could lose your mobility, you could live in pain, but at least you're still there. Even if your memory gets shit and thinking slows down a lot in old age at least you're in the game, you're a part of life. Every person should live and die with basic cognitive faculties, dementia gradually turns you into nothing.
