Cheers was great, Norm was great, George was great.
Don’t know who this is, don’t care
this was a 30 year old man in 1990
FAT
damn bros, 76 seems like a hard age to get past and my pops is approaching that age
noone knows who this guy is
honestly he did all right for someone that unhealthy

Imagine being so stupid that you don't know who Norm is.
he's got a stool waiting in heaven. no sticky?
Spend time with him. Watch kino with him.

Who
normally i call for a sticky but in this case he is a literal who known for 1 thing and he doesnt deserve a sticky
Nom
he was 34 when Cheers premiered
One day you gonna die anon
Was wondering if anyone remembered this. Anyway, RIP Wendt. Kinda surprised you made it this long
reminder that he was 26 years old when cheers aired
literally who?
NORM!
Which I could find a bar like Norm found his, bros.
Lurk moar zoomie. That or fuck off.
it's crazy that he was only 22 when cheers came out
Anything to get away from Vera
he did all right for someone that unhealthy
this, guy's that fat don't usually make it to 70, good for him
vaxx status?
safe and effective
He was the Weekend Update guy from SNL, right?
oh yeah my bad he had that bit part as the fat druggie in fletch and literally nothing else of note
Nobody knows who or what that is.
of all the Cheers main guys to have died, he has died the oldest, being 76. Colasanto was 61 and MAGA Kirstie was 71
He would have lived longer if he had a beard. would have looked more youthful
wrong Norm
Huh.....interesting. You know what else was in the news today which I bet is not a coincidence?
star
airbrushes the wrinkles off
gives him long lush hair
bro look at how much younger he would look with this modern style
bullshit
Rest in peace Norm .
Cheers was top tier comfy comedy , sometimes just as good as Frasier.
You really can't go back home.
F
Afternoon everybody.
Yes we do fucking broccoli head
NORM!
NORM!
F Norm
pour one out for a real one
How's life treatin you Norm?
I'd rather drink it
immortalized in fallout
Yep mine is 76 with a heart condition docs said he has 25% of it left so 76 would probably be lucky to get there so definitely focusing my time with him.
say thank you Cheers!
sorry I mean 70* oops
also note he is still upright and can do things its just never going to run a marathon
I realized he looks a lot like John C Reilly
OH NONONONONO NOOORM
I still can't believe he was only 19 when cheers first aired
NORM!
I guess you could say George Went.
hilarious how much they edited the image
Being a fat fuck probably didn't help either
he was 19 when the show ended. it was some real benjamin button shit
WHERE THE FUCK IS THE STICKY!!!
Meant to reply to this
With the wind!
This guy was 150 years old and collecting social security when he filmed this
76
was 50 when the show first aired
it’s been off the air for 40 years
The math ain’t mathing.
Trannies don't care about Cheers. Joe Don Baker didn't get a sticky either.
Sticky WENDT
You're either retarded or just pretending to be for the laughs.
NORM!
seemed a good guy, reminded me of my father's friends in the 80s, temperament wise.
it was some real benjamin button shit
And there was nothin we could do about, just had to sit still and take it. Cliff was a made guy and norm wasn't.
You just know Cliff is inconsolable right now. RIP Norm. Pouring one out for you.
RIP
F
Nope. John Ratzenberger made it to 78. is really them now.
F
F
Wait hold up he didn't die yet? I thought he died like two years ago. When did the timelines switch?
The comfiest seasons were the middle ones when Diane, Woody and Frasier were all on the show at the same time.
letter carrier
What the hell kind of name is that
I thought he was long dead already desu
DA BEARS
rip
only 22
Looked 40
Good lord.
76
Is that the oldest a fat comedian has lived? Belushi and Farley dropped in their early 30s.
another boomer/gen x icon dead
Good riddance.
F
Possibly. Gleason made it to 71. Goodman is 72 if you consider him a comedian of sorts given his many comedic roles.
Shatner is nearly 100. Not strictly speaking a comedian though.
Wendt played ‘Edna Turnblad” in a production of Hairspray
Norm in drag is nightmare fuel.
I think Jonathan Winters made it to 80-something (just looked it up, 87! Wow that’s gotta be a fat guy record!)
Dom DeLuise also lived to 75, pretty good for a guy his size who actually got even fatter in his older years.
He played Norm Peterson in the episode of Fraiser where he attends the retirement party of a postal worker.
This was pretty fun. Might watch it again tonight in his honor
You've never seen Space Truckers?!
maybe you got him confused with Don Rickles? Due to Toy Story.
Fun fact, he’s also Jason Sudeikis’ uncle. He got his first on screen acting role in a bit George Wendt did during one of his old Conan interviews in the late 90s

I'm pretty sure not only Homer saw worse at Moe's, he probably did worse at Moe's!
youtube.com
Screwed up that link
"Norm!"
"How's it hanging Normy?"
"Dangling in satin."
RIP
RIP, Norm was awesome
RIP
Was he ever in anything popular other than Cheers? I remember him being the angry dad on the Black or White music video but that's basically it.
Damn all the Da Bears guys are dead now except Mike Myers
No sticky for Norm? Come on!!!?!?
RIP George!
SAFE AND EFFECTIVE
I always remembered seeing the video box in the video stores as a kid in the 90s thinking it would be awesome (Norm from Cheers and John Candy starring in a movie together?? Awesome!) then finally rented it and it was some boring TV movie and it turns out John Candy directed it and isn’t a star in it, he just had a cameo towards the end. VHS cover false advertising like that used to piss me off
It's time for the new Norm.
I did this and I felt retarded. I knew Don Rickles was dead though.
Robert Smigel and Joe Mantegna are still around as well.
Oops, meant that for
Fuck you, I had to make sure Robert Smiegel wasn't dead.
The new baskins
He is dead, he was mauled by Triumph
THATS NOT TRUE
He lying, you'll live forever and never feel pain and will only know happiness for all eternity.
I figured he didn’t have long, he was spotted last summer being wheeled out of a dialysis clinic looking pretty old and frail
1. He was alive?
2. He was only 76???
He looked fucking 50 in Cheers.
Looks pretty spry to me
Fatbros... EAT UP! He was a big lad ill take 76 easy
I've long suspected this
fuck that's sad
enjoy your youth, bros
RIP. Was also based in House.
people looked older in the 80s
Vera status?
Looks like George came and Wendt. Rip guy
died on the anniversary of the Cheers' series finale
That's Benicio del Toro not George Wendt
They didn’t. People back then dressed and acted more maturely. Nowadays everyone’s a slobby manchild.
Based I was gonna mention that kino. Weird how the first two House movies had someone from The Cheers in it
mfw finding out ol' Cliffy is one of the highest grossing actors of all time because of some Pixarshit bit roles
unironically good for him
And just like that, he Wendt!
F for NORM!
Da bears : (
known for 1 thing
He was in House. The 80s horror, not the doctor.
Being as the others will all die older, that means he's the third youngest.
RIP
I remember finding this movie funny as a kid, they used to air it on Comedy Central sometimes in the late 90s or so
You now remember his episode Columbo.
norm enters
"NORM"
diane chimes in
"Norman!"
It's NORM diane. Stop that!
Cheers didn't really start until season 5, bro.
He had a role in the Spice Girls movie.
It's my first time watching. I'm on season 2 and I love it. That's good news that some people think it keeps getting better.
gone and wendt, cheers old buddy
Well you know it's a dog eat dog world and I'm wearin' bacon pants
F Norm
pour one out for a real one
This kind of makes me want to drink. But I always want to drink. I should just not.
the top players aren't even here yet...
Who are they?
Woody, Frasier, Lilith, to name a few.
dont do it its not worth it
ur an alchie too so you get it
the show has only been of the air for 30years
The show is great all the way through, towards the latter seasons you'll start to notice episodes that were basically rewritten for Fraiser because they were so good and notice a lot of writing credits names from fraiser episodes if you've seen that show. It's basically the same writers and by the last few seasons it's really just fraiser just in a different setting and different characters.
That's what people are talking about it getting better, and they are right but classic cheers is good to. Enjoy anon.
Yeah I'm waiting for frasier although he hear he's not in most episodes. But I don't care. The show is already solid.
You're right. My kidneys hurt so I really should cut back.
RIP
That's interesting. I ended up watching frasier first so watching this now is great since it's kind of better imo.
although he hear he's not in most episodes
he's pretty much a main cast member from the moment he shows up, only not appearing in an episode here and there.
I grew up with fraiser and it's in my top 3 easily and didn't watch cheers till I was in my 30's and kicked myself for it afterwords. I like fraiser and cheers pretty much equally now. I really like the charm of the cheers early seasons you can tell it's still the 80's. I like them both for different reasons that you're probably already seeing.
Oh shit well that's good to hear.
I didn't grow up with frasier. I remember adults liking it and I was like fuck that put on south park. But yeah I watched it first and then was also kicking myself when I watched cheers. Why did I wait so long? But yeah they're good for different reasons. Apparently some of the cheers producers made wings? I should probably try watching that too someday.
F BOOMERS, the fuck do I care about some actor only boomers know about
Apparently some of the cheers producers made wings? I should probably try watching that too someday.
Yes Fraiser is there too for an episode.
Apparently some of the cheers producers made wings?
never watched that one, might give it a try but unless their writing producers that really doesn't mean much.
STICKY
Yep I've already lost my dad and 2 uncles before they reached even 75 and I know odds are I won't make it that far either. Watching people you've known all your life start going one by one does get depressing
based
Loved him in man of the house
