Turns out Bob Chapek was the person ruining Marvel. We are back baby.

It's too late to save the MCU, it's too big and focuses too much on fringe stories and literal whos. Needs a total reboot with new actors unironically.
literal who's
You mean like Iron Man and Thor?
celebrating the return of capeshit
what's happening to this place
heres your new avengers bro
I like capes. Don't be a miserable faggot maybe.
No like anyone on op picture
Who is that captain america and doom?
U.S. Agent and Taskmaster
the multiverse fad is just a big fan service.
what made the mcu appealing for many people was that it streamlined the stories compared to the comics.
everything also had stakes.
i'll wait on the multiverse saga post-orgasm before i judge if it's dead, though.
Do you faggots just forget that no one knew who Iron Man was before the MCU? Were you even alive in 2008?
Were you even alive in 2008?
I was alive in 2000 and the theme song to the cartoon still lives in my head.
Did you forget the X-Men cartoon, Spider Man cartoon and their various spinoffs were actually really successful, or was that before your time old man?
Strangenly I know who they are still couldn't recognize them
Dude iron man had a poorly animated cartoon
people knew who Iron Man was because he had a shitty cartoon
You faggots can't be serious
It would have been a lot better if it didn't have a bunch of shitty movie and tv shows as a perquisite. I see that filtering a lot of people.
a kino cartoon*

one knew who Iron Man was before the MCU?
retard ironman was popular before that junkie got cast
Revisionist history by a zoomer
It kind of stands decently on its own even without having prior knowledge of the characters. That's what makes it above average for a Phase 5 movie. But prior knowledge definitely helps.
I'm not watching your stupid fucking movie, no matter how many shill threads there are.
This
How you can see this and not find it memorable
don't worry guys, THIS superhero movie is good.
I-I promise ;_;
Sure buddy
yeah if they just sat and talked over tea it would've been so much better
Are you implying this looks bad? Are you really that tasteless?
The good elements of the movie weren't really action-oriented, the writing was just decent. Although there's a few CGI moments that were nice too.
This was a great movie.
I'm still concerned it was the good meat between 2 slices of shit bread.
Captain America was boring AF
Fantastic 4 does not look good.
But out of those movies, Thunderbolts is the one I was looking forward to, so I'm happy it was a good entertaining movie.
I'm not gay, but Bucky taking off his jacket like that made me hard
Maybe he knows the Sentry
This will go poorly
I was not looking forward to it at all, and was decently surprised. But I'm also someone who generally doesn't hate the movies. So that means that the average Joe has a low chance of seeing this movie if they found Brave New World to be underwhelming, and to be fair Thunderbolts was a better movie.
The F4 is a mystery to me. I'm not crazy about the cast but the direction seems like it could be decent. Upcoming Superman doesn't impress me.
tosses us all across the room with ease and is immune to all forms of attack
I'll try a telegraphed right cross!
You can give them your money for shoddy efforts. I shan't
Yeah, they did a pretty good job explaining everyones backstories just about. You can pretty much figure the rest out on your own.
The only one I think my sister asked me about was who Yelena's sister was they were talking about.
Of course I did catch her on her phone looking things up during the movie. I just think she can't not look at her phone for 2 hours.
Who knows.
agreed.
Most of the writing worked well.
It was a nice change of pace from the Falcon movie. No lecturing. Which was a nice change of pace. fucking nags that they became for awhile
You may be slightly gay
I imagine when you have a vibranium robot arm, your instinct is to treat every nail with a hammer made of left hooks.
It's alright. Can't place it on a scale and I wouldn't say it's better than peak MCU, but better than the last few movies for sure.
Got carried quite a bit by Sentry.
I don't dislike Steven Yeun as an actor but him quitting the movie was the best thing that happened to it, as Pullman was damn near perfect as Bob.
That is my biggest problem with Fantastic 4, the casting choices.
Pedro is a TERRIBLE pick, I don't care what his fanboys say. The dude is a awful choice for Mr. Fantastic.
The blond, I said from day one she won't be able to do a proper America accent because her real accent is too thick, and from the trailer, I can see I was right.
Johnny is suppose to be HOT. The actor they picked is not. BUT, he is a good actor from the one movie I saw him in, so maybe he'll be alright.
The only hope for that movie is the story being solid. Fingers crossed.
honestly i wish he was Sentry for a bit longer, like at least imply in the credits that Bob manages to get the Void enough in control so that the New Avengers are actually able to fight anything, instead we see 14 months later and he's now the team mom doing the dishes.
Pullman was Fantastic in it!
I knew he looked familiar, then I realized he was Bob from Top Gun Maverick
Bill Pullman did a great job with his kid. Good for him. I like seeing that.
Why do Disneyshills still try? This is just slop like every other MCU flick. It also flopped btw
i promise you near no one remembers there was this cartoon and everyone regardless of generation knows Iron Man from the 2008 movie lol
That's kind of how it was in the comics, with Sentry only being able to help occasionally, since Void seeks to undo any good deed that Sentry does.
But it's safe to assume he'll play a part in the next Avengers movie. I won't be surprised if his Watchtower becomes the new Avengers tower. As far as I understand, there's also potential for a solo movie in the works, because his creator signed a deal or something like that.
This. These children are retarded
capeslop
Grow up.
I remember it. I kind of liked 90s Tony more than the movie version, although I recognize that the first film was decent.
because if Anon Babble is known for anything, it's being mature
As in 80 years old average
Old man yells at clouds
What are you yapping about this scene was peak capeslop.
Damn, how did this cast of literal who's and a literal who director absolutely MOG Snyder doing this scene with Superman and the fucking Justice League?
So has US Agent redeemed himself in universe did nothing wrong btw and in the eyes of normgroids?
US agent will always be evil captain america, like protoman to megaman
I bet your favorite movie is Avatar.
Because it was made bank at the box office btw
Protocide (pic rel, standing over US Agent) is the actual evil Captain America. US Agent is misunderstood, and an anti-hero at best, but not an outright villain. He was a West Coast Avenger at one point.
Good little piggie lmao
this guy gets it
disregard hoes
acquire currency
The infamous west coast avengers?
With scarlet witch and everything?
most of my early exposure to marvel was through those old playstation fighting games like marvel vs capcom.
it was only years later after the mcu train started rolling that i found out that iron man was a relatively unknown character to the general public.
I liked pic rel
