I don't think i have hated a character more than i do Emma Stone's.
What was the benefit of having extremely unlikeable characters?
The Curse
you can ht hem without judgement because you are suppose to
hatewatching is a powerful drug. Its an appeal to reality TV, so a further fictionalized version is mesmerizing
But where are the bloody jokes?!
Why is the show so voyeuristic? Im on episode 7 and theres a scene between emma and her father and the camera is clearly in a car beside them, the window is rolled up and you can see the door frame. Theres so many shots that are through bushes or whatver.
What is this trying to convey? Im media illiterate
But where are the bloody jokes?!
Cringe: The Show
no spice on they chikkenz
This shows the modern liberal couple
On episode 8 now and this whole thing is turning into an Asher humiliation ritual. This makes me so uncomfortable it should be marketed as a horror
The benefit? Here you are discussing it, giving free advertisement, and contributing to the collective conscious. They gotcha bud and it's okay.
Im only watching for nathan fielder. It could have had any type characters
Finished episode 9
So asher has a humiliation fetish? What the fuck is happening
I liked her character because it was brilliantly acted
It just hurts because i know people that have used her exact arguments about crime / eviction stuff. Every time theres a scene of her walking up to someone it makes me tense up
Pleb
Midwit
Kino enjoyer
Pic unrelated
didn't you catch on to that earlier on when he was pretending to get cucked?
Calling me a pleb isn't answering my questions. If you can't answer them then just say so
Ok I take back the pleb comment and move you down to retard tier. Think for yourself and use your intuition you dumbo
Ok so you can't answer simple questions. Pretentious loser
If a Safdie bro is involved, every character has to be a massive piece of shit, by law.
I'd rather be pretentious than devoid of any personal insight. Seriously though, no memes, what do you you think the reason is That it is filmed like that? If you have zero idea then let me guide you in the right direction: the entre show is about making (literal and metaphorical) safe spaces and building walls against the community they have deluded themselves into thinking that they are helping. What happens behind the closed doors is the secrets that those walls are try to hide, but we the viewer get to take a peak behind the curtain and see the personal turmoils of these fucked up people. Extrapolate further anon.
profoundly irritating character played so nuanced and perfectly it makes your skin crawl everytime she's on screen
people trip over themselves to get filtered because of the strong emotional gut reaction and never look deeper
Seems very Janice Soprano to me.
what's wrong with her? I don't like her face and her stupid eye brows. But I don't remember her character being special
Thats about what i thought of. Its the conversations these people dont want us to see but i wasn't done witht he show yet and didnt know if there was something more to it.
The ending was fucking weird and makes me think it was a humiliation and ritual sacrifice of a cowardly man for purposes. The way he just accepted the "pottery scene" edit solidified him as proper cattle
Watched it for nathan but ended up kind of wishing i didn't bother. Ending is retarded, emmas character is a cunt and the humor became sardonic very quickly then just deteriorated into mean spiritedness. I dare say the whole thing was quite jewish
Nathan Fielder frequently references his Jewish heritage and the Holocaust, you racist faggot.
Nathan's entire life resolved around serving his wife but he deeply felt that he didn't deserve her. All he wanted was to make her happy despite her ridiculous ideas and strong arming of everyone around her. Once she got what she wanted he loses all purpose and might as well cease to exist.
It's not acting. This is Emma Stone and the typical bleeding heart liberal bullshit.
aka the character she played (well)
The key is that they're both hypocrites, but he's willing to put up with so much bullshit (since he's a man, but he lets too much slide) and she has no tolerance for anything outside her narrow thinking.
This show was kino, in a decade everyone will be claiming they always liked it
Checked why was the last episode not funny
Watch the show and find out. I strongly suggest not spoiling it for yourself
Impressive digits. It was kino, tv just pretends to be autistic as usual.
we're thrown into life without any reason or explanation
Emma Stone's character doesn't owe you anything
she can be as insufferable as she wants, and so can you
Damn
pretty fucking great. when it leans into the ''hard to watch'' it does it tremendously
This show was peak A24 Kabbalah hipster slop that poses as Lynchian for normie support
