Just watched a few episodes of House M.D

Only treats one or two patients a week.

Needs 3-5 other fulltime doctors to help him.

Always misdiagnoses patients multiple times.

Often only reaches the right diagnosis through luck or coincidence.

Hurts the hospital's reputation by being awful to every clinic patient.

Might Me Homosexual.

How Dose Bro Still Have A Job?

IMG_0912.jpg - 705x765, 141.37K

White male midwits always keep their jobs, it’s only POC that are held up to a microscope

It's not lupus

hurr durr that's impossible

congratulations op you faggot, you're just like my mom whenever she watches something. it's a fucking TV show, not a documentary.

the show is about the personal drama and characters, not the contrived and exaggerated medical cases

This vexes me

TV show is unrealistic

WHOA

house get skateboard

That's because POC are shit at their jobs

ironically the show is at its worst when it begins "exploring" the characters. all that emotional baggage bogs things down. just find out the patient's diagnosis you faggots.

I couldn't get through 5 minutes of one house episode it was that lame but I tried it again at another time and it was still lame so couldn't get past any five five minute mark. Who is retarded enough to watch that shit?

pretending House is bad won't make you fit around here anon

mp3

Do you often watch ophera and dr phil with your cats?

It happens to every drama series, they all just eventually become glorified soaps where the writers only care about creating personal drama between characters. Which fucking sucks for anyone who just wants to see engaging characters do cool shit while bantering back and forth.

This is why I like movies like Predator with the Schwarzenegger, they don't need any stupid character development for the wommenz folk, they just get right down to it.

no and no

I never watched House much but that tapeworm episode still fucks me up

Just assume they are treating other patients off screen. Maybe more time is given to high risk house cases, but they are still doing rounds and everything.
You didn’t even mentain the biggest contrivance:
Breaking into peoples houses.
Even if they were given permission, which they weren’t, it’s comical to think any doctor would care enough about any patient to leave the hospital for a diagnosis

IMG_4452.jpg - 2992x1796, 158.17K

they find "the cure" 10 minutes in so you know it is not the cure

wilson loses hundreds of dollars casually

patient is improving

patient suddenly gets worse

all hope is lost

someone makes an innocuous comment about something

house has his head down

slowly lifts it up and stares into nothing

cut to house waddling barking order because the innocuous comment someone made gave him ideas and this time it actually is the cure

Cutthroat Bitch was best girl, they were too quick to kill her off. should have been her as the 3rd and not Kutner.

yeah you're right OP you're a faggot

*Chef's kiss*

iirc they do explain that he has a job because he does clinic duty regularly and once a week he treats a patient who no one else in the country can cure. his department costs a lot of money (main villain of s1 brings it up iirc) but cuddy likes him and he has a reputation of solving cases and diagnosing patients better than everyone else

It's a prestige thing. He is well known to be among the best diagnosticians in the world and the cases he works while often rocky are too complicated for regular doctors and usually end with the formerly doomed patient surviving. While he causes trouble for the hospital, they can also boast about having him to attract affluent patients, not necessarily to be treated by him but because if the regular doctors on staff can't figure out what is wrong with you, he'll take the case. He is an advertisable safety net.

It shouldn't. (if you only saw it once, yo might not remember, but) They put an exchange right there almost just so it wouldn't
A surgeon looking on goes "could I have one of those in me?"
And House goes, "you'd be screaming in excruciating pain."
The chick in the episode had the specific combo of that condition that makes it so you don't feel pain and giant tapeworm.
A lot of House episodes are about some kind of combo like that being the reason the diagnosis takes longer.

But House, I can't let you fill the patient's anus with helium; it could make his condition worse, even if he only has three hours to live and is coughing up his organs and crying blood

I hired you for your unconventional yet effective methods, but I can't let you use this method, even if it worked for the previous 1,580 cases

Also I won't tell you when your idea will have made the patient to come out of the vegetable state in which he was locked up for the last 15 years, you could believe that you are a good doctor and that you are right most of the time, which is statistically true and the point of the show BUT

Why is he biting an examination glove? That could have been inside an anus.

Only treats one or two patients a week

Any time he's in clinic duty.

he is just that cool, unconventional, different, and edgy

It's a TV show, anon. You need to create some drama to make it work.

Kal Penn had legitimate star power before he threw his career away for the Obungler

My boss, my colleague and innocent people are being held hostage? It's not my problem, I have 10 year old girls to kiss and virgins nuns to fuck

images (17).jpg - 207x244, 8.21K

Yeah, he is based af.

>wilson loses hundreds of dollars casually

He's a high level oncologist who was easily pulling down 300k+

He's literally me.

post you're housefu

Me Homosexual.

Nice Freudian slip, and yes you are a homosexual
