Andor/Starape Wars General - Implying You Wouldn't Edition
New eps when
uh, Tuesday?
generals are gay and star wars is even gayer
i watch rape for she
Ive never watched an episode of this slop, but can someone give me a qrd of the whole rape thing? Is it just chuddies seething over nothing again?
Unlimited immigration for women.
For men, the must provide some substantial economic benefit.
you will never get to rape THIS
why even live, Imperial bros?
its not really graphic just the dude grabbing at her and then tossing her around when she resists before she knocks him out with a tool of some kind
Watched the three episodes yesterday. The bit on the forest planet with Andor was absolutely atrocious, fuck me.
Nothing much, an attempted rape with nothing much to it.
I thought the progressives had more of a dislike for it, they often don't like rape as part of a story beat.
Since today. Don't pretend you don't know.
Pic related is a low level Imp officer on an inspection run on an outer rim planet who wants a hit-and-quit fuck and marks Bix to get his freak on with before her "husband" comes back. She refuses his advances so he tries extortion because he knows she's an illegal on that world and he can turn a blind eye if she puts out for him. She fights him off and he tries to take her by force.
The funny thing is this is probably more about how her dad is the kept man and her role model for how to live the easy life
i need love
Imperial tries to rape hot fugitive, they struggle and she defends herself, she says "he tried to rape me" in defense.
I've voted right wing in the past 3 elections(not american) and it didn't occur to me that it would be such a big deal to people that a character said "rape".
It's like people don't know what television is and et offended when anything unsavory is shown.
Seems like it's with tiktokers who can't say suicide, because it's a nono word.
Imagine if:
she was single
he was hot
I want to see a slice-of-life Imperial romance story where an officer meets a cute farm girl and marries her and has kids with her. The end.
Can't be done, Imperials are bad.
The punchline here is that there's a nazi romance movie by a black woman exactly like that
can someone give me a qrd of the whole rape thing? Is it just chuddies seething over nothing again?
Yes. It was graphic and brutal and terrifyingly relevant. The Imperial officer wore a baseball cap that said MAKE THE EMPIRE GREAT AGAIN and everything.
And the mostly-peaceful brown space migrant stood for oppressed women everywhere when she bashed his head in with a space wrench.
skinny
big ass
nice tits
Perfect body right there, I want to bury my face deep in her asshole
OH N-
Andor? More like bore
how is it an arranged marriage if the daughter wants to get married? I couldn't understand why mon mothra was being such a bitch in this scene
ONE WAY IN
ONE WAY IN
literally me
Because she was never given the choice, but Leeta(sp?) isn't like her in that same situation and Mon didn't clue into that until that moment.
She is single until she starts fucking Andor again. Frankly their whole "We're just friends now" thing despite clearly caring for each other greatly isn't really believable.
That ass needs to be worshipped
The only problem I have with the supposed "rape scene" is that Disney would NEVER have the balls to do an ACTUAL rape scene. What happened in the show was an ATTEMPTED rape scene, where the victim defeats the aggressor. Disney would never have the balls to depict the rape itself and the psychologically traumatic aftermath of one. This scene wasn't dark at all, it was nothing more than a #GIRLBOSS moment, where the heroine defeats the evil huwite male nazi trumpist.
Leida
At a glance I thought that was photoshopped.
It's not that crazy really, but just seemed like it would be an easy thing to shoop but it's legit.
Been looking at her other photos too, she's quite skinny, doesn't really seem to be much of a gymgirl.
It's just very naturally placed there, and not much elsewhere.
I'm not trying to just Brosnan meme here guys but I fear she'd look insane if she just gained a bit of weight and then went crazy on leg day.
Like even if she was overweight she'd just look curvy to most people.
If she gained a controlled amount and then built those glutes, she might be an unparalleled masterpiece.
Please Adria, if you build it, we will cum.
Thank you
The second she fucks him, she dies, her lifespan is only three years maximum anyway.
For Star Wars nerds, a character saying "Shit" and an attempted rape with a character literally saying "He tried to rape me" is a big thing
She's gonna die, or she's just gonna leave. I don't think literally all characters will die, but a good chunk. She has a chance of living, but Dedra will for sure die (or implied she will when she gets transferred to the Death Star).
muh rape
Just let me watch my Star Wars trash in peace
Star Wars trash
Okay go to the Ahsoka thread
Fuck off
milestone
So was that the last we saw of this little dude? He's not going to see Cassian or Bix ever again or know that Brasso is dead?
I'm sure he'll show up on a re-released version of ANH as a scrapped bot on the sandcrawler
I'm a professional victim
Nobody's bothering you, Candace Owens
He will get himself a new body
autistically lies down in bed after his mother humiliates him in front of his waifu
Literally me
When did you weird fucking Twitter posters who can't just laugh at a meme show up?
The officer was fixing to make an exception by letting her, an illegal, off with a "nuance." She didn't want to be the only exception, so she resisted the throbbing nudge. Collectivists love this part for some reason.
genuinely sad that this guy died, it all got lost in the rape thing
and new personality
implying death is worse than SA
umm, ew? can you please like not?
Didn't they just kind of blast him off screen? None of the characters really seemed to care
I read an interview with Denise and she was out for a walk one day after getting the part and she bumped into Ian McDiarmid in a park and she just said "Hi, boss" to him
Denise is VERY cute.
I wanna tongue punch her fart box.
cast didn't even know what order 66 is or what Luke's call sign in ANH was
It's kind of fun in a way seeing non Star Wars fans just fucking around with a script and plopping it in the Star Wars galaxy
Honestly we need more outsider shit in Star Wars
We just keep getting rehashed fate of the galaxy crap
The problem isn't whether it's outsider or insider, the problem is that it's shit.
thread theme
You're shit
sneed
spit on my penis and call me a retard
Too many fucking Africans in that group. Everyone was west African.
The scene in Clone Wars doesn't count?
That's a female?
They have to be at least average looking. Which automatically rules out most Mexican females over the age of 25.
So that's why they were retarded... What did Gilroy means by this?
who dis latina
Bix Nood, unironically
kys, Ivan
Bix, our rebel wife
whats the appeal of this show?
Implying You Wouldn't Edition
It's Star Wars but with all the whimsy and romanticism replaced with gritty realism and mundane bullshit.
Same as Zack Snyder. Edgy capeshit for "adults" (manchildren).
and delicious latina ass
The appeal is that it's the best Star Wars work of the entire franchise.
there was no rape scene
its a ploy to trick you into watching their terrible show
what does that mean?
Empire being an actual menace and oppresing people
Rebels who aren't portrayed as just the good guys
all the main female characters are great
Luthen kino
The terrorism power fantasy
did i ever tell you i love latina pussy? i dont care if its brown
It's immersive.
"Comfy" in a darkness sort of way, as in it is comfortable to be safe from the blizzard outside the window.
The villains are effective, and while clearly they are villains, we watch them through the lens of protagonists.
We sadly know a few characters can't die because we've seen the future, but beyond them the stakes feel quite real. Even though we know those few characters can't die, they can still suffer or lose, so it's not like there's no stakes to them.
it's campy, inspiring, epic, and for kids.
It means its Kino.
redditors actually believe this
lmao
did i ever tell you i love latina pussy?
Congratulation, you are one of us.
I AM ACTING!
HERE IS TEARY MONOLOGUE #123 WHERE THE CHARACTER SPELLS EVERYTHING OUT FOR BRAINLETS!
This crap insisted upon itself.
whats the appeal of this show?
its a based as fuck show teaching normies about doing what's necessary to nazi scum
Why does every modern show look so bland and ugly?
every clip I've seen of this season besides the 'rape' scene was some cringey, preachy, over the top monologue
for "adults" (manchildren).
Look who is talking.
But Andor is closer to Invincible (since Invincible moves Snyder MoS as Andor might Rebel Moon)
this
What if Star Wars was actually good
you won't do shit
mexican girlboss punching nazis with a wrench
BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
It's just a gritty spy thriller Star Wars.
if thats something you may be interested in, I'd say check it out. If not, then don't. It's the best written Star Wars anything, which isn't saying much given how badly written most of those movies/shows are.
She looks like the Alien meme
Why did you copypaste a post I made earlier this week?
so an actual star wars fan that liked it for what star wars was wouldn't like it?
Is this the rape scene?
Well it's tough to compare 3/12 episodes to a completed season. The Wedding was kino, the Yavin 4 went on for too long and could have been better. Overall, we've spent three episodes getting caught up. Hopefully every three episodes doesn't overly feel like we are trying to catch up to the newest time skip.
Just an inch more and we'd get some crack.
The show is insanely boring to watch so they added a sanitized 'attempted rape' scene so that people on Twitter would talk about it.
leftists love self-inserting as revolutionaries taking on fascism
I'm right wing but I enjoy the political commentary and how the accelerationists are portrayed as right and the leftists within the story are just useful idiots while the real rebellion is actually being bankrolled by the CIS lolberts from the prequels
Yes, best example is Star Wars Theory being bored and hating the show
It's the least Disney Star Wars product, which makes it mostly tolerable
Despite the show being made about a man (Andor) it has once again pulled the standard Disney switcheroo and the female supporting cast are the only people doing anything
it's about trump?
Rape.
And this.
It's not the "best written", it's OVERWRITTEN, i.e. lengthy monologues that dwell on the same thing for 5 minutes and hit you like a brick in the face, in case you didn't get it. What someone like Lucas would tell visually, shit like Andor would spend 10 minutes talking about it in a teary emmy bait monologue, making retards believe it's deeper than it actually is - the definition of pretentiousness.
It's a shame Brap Dallas Howard isn't directing an episode for this for double brapping
Okay guys.
I've thought about it for a while and I've decided.
I'm only gonna masturbate to Adria Arjona(aka Bix Caleen) unitl season 2 of Andor is over.
I love the show, I love her, and I feel like this is the moral choice for me in my life right now.
Why does every modern show look so bland and ugly?
you are literally him
Aesthetic
It's basically Star Wars if it was a HBO show, the simple fact that there is no glow sticks make them angry
Exactly
VOTE BLUE!
you're LOST. all of them, LOST.
no
Those spiders are going to eat someone
Can you give an example of one of these monologues? I've never felt like the show was overly explaining concepts for the sake of the lowest common denominator retard viewers.
whats the appeal of this show?
Its for people who like the idea of rebelling against an evil empire, but only if they remove all the fun, gore and ideology out of it first.
I miss the simplicity of Imperial uniforms in 77. Now they have hundreds of different uniforms and costumes and in Andor it's all meant to look more like real life suits.
god I love Forrest in this
I keep seeing these people say "LFG"
Wtf is this supposed to mean? Do they think trump is the weekly raid boss or something?
That's an extremely flat shot.
This and based
Luthen crap with the "what do i sacrifice" instantly comes to mind. Or Maarva's giant cringe granny hologram from beyond the grave. Both are cringe, overwritten, pretentious and overrated.
perhaps you'd like looking at the shot better from a jail cell
Let's Fucking Go
There are still 3 main variants of the uniform:
ISB
Army/Navy
Civilian officials
And Andor actually keeps all crucial elements of Imperial aesthetic.
and hit you like a brick in the face
That guy is a Che Guevera Communist
the best character with the best actor
has only two scenes that mog the rest of the show
don't actually have him do anything
Show would have been better if it was about Saw than Andor.
And yet it still manages to be aesthetic to everything else in the franchise
If you watch the show and think about Trump, then idk what to tell you on how you feel about the US president. This was written before his 2nd term. I didn't think about Trump or MAGA shit once watching this series.
Praises Lucas for telling stories visually
posts CGI green screen slop from literal worst Star Wars prequel
Okay, Anon. You're right. I need more badly written dialogue and shit acting in Star Wars. Book of Boba Fett, here I come.
it’s Star Wars if it was written and filmed as a mature show for mature viewers such as ourselves. unironically.
Is that Pussy Riot?
I bet George Lucas is very proud. He created this universe to warn us all about what's currently happening. I bet George loves Andor.
If there were any shred of justice in this world, her butt would be on my face this very moment.
They also say nothing of substance.
The themes of liberty and authoritarianism in Star Wars is so freakin' radioactive. I don't know how y'all take it all in and bathe in mud.
>posts CGI green screen slop from literal worst Star Wars prequel
And yet, looks 1000000000000000x times better than the $600 million dogshit "prestige" show made 20 years later. Curious.
4 variants, Stormtrooper Corps have theirs in all black.
I like Andor. I love the epic (in the true use of the term) space opera of Star Wars being something anyone can enjoy, but I think a spinoff show that's a bit more grounded is fine. I think the setting is expansive enough to for a number of tones/settings. I do think the mainline stuff should stick the epic space opera, good vs evil, swashbuckiling tone.
Well, anarchy is a seductive concept, a bit of a luxury I'd argue to a man who's hiding in cold caves and begging for spare parts.
get gf
get job promotion
still pestered by your annoying mom
He can't get a break
did you just come here to insult me Luthen
star as the victim in a rape scene
attend the promotional thing in a provacatove form revealing dress and try to pose all sexy for it
Not very tasteful....
George loves Rogue one. It's the only Disney movie he has outright said he loves and even called Tony Gilroy after seeing it. George has wanted to do a gritty star wars show before he sold it. I'd bet my bottom dollar George loves Andor.
Your image is compressed to shit and unreadable retard
the show is about resistance against authoritarianism, systemic oppression and inequality, and political radicalization according to google. In the rape scene everyone is talking about, a brown “undocumented” engineer is sexually assaulted by an imperial conducting an audit to round up on illegals...
every plotline beside the actual Andor A plot line
I never understood the Slave 1 controversy though. It's still called that in canon, I just thougt it was the toys renamed to "Boba Fett's ship" as a marketing strategy, so that middle aged soccer moms strolling through Target would see it and go, "Boba Fett? My retarded 7 year old son Jimmy keeps blabbing about that character. Guess I'll buy this ship that looks like a fucked up iron," instead of seeing "Slave 1" and having no clue what that even means.
Try not being a phonefag.
He's literally 4channel
are there that many people who like to imagine violent revolutions?
True, we need more Arabs in the rebellion. It just makes sense, if you know what I mean.
THIS SHOW IS GARBAGE
I liked when the Rebels were like normal army people with uniform and class and not brown, dirty, freaks and ugly boring bong women with cold expressions all the time.
he doesn't know source of inspiration for Aldani heist
Anything with Luthen is cool though.
They look like androgynous weirdos but that's the appeal to a lot crack jobs these days.
still no classic aliens that would make sense to appear
all the "talking" roles are humans
all the aliens are bland ugly brown sequel designs in a few background shots
This show is not Star Wars. This is space London 2025.
He's right you know
It's a tale as old as time.
No, it doesn't.
one location >>>> green screen trash
at this point, Anon, I think you're just being a contrarian. Maybe you just like how shit the prequels look, and that's fine. But to say it looks better than an actual set or an actual location tells me you don't like being immersed in a films world.
I miss when nazis were afraid to speak
What was in it for the fag on the left? Isn't the empire human supremacist?
Isn't this the same retard that cried over TLJ criticism and then cried over TROS being shit?
I like the spaceships the most
i fucking hate the english
Luthen's monologue wasn't really explaining anything though. Marva's dialogue was gay but not out of character for a deluded old crazy lady.
Are you fucking kidding me? Go to Reddit for five minutes, ANYWHERE on Reddit damn near, and you'll be reminded of the need to kill off half the country for psycho liberalism. I made the mistake of going to the Andor subreddit when Anon Babble was down, and it was nonstop hell.
Chuds can't get over Pedro's new boot goofin'
Det fik mig til at grine
Det er faktisk tredje gang, jeg har lagt det op i denne uge, og det gav mig en masse (jer)'er.
Tak, makker.
this is a nonissue thankfully.
Retro-futurism FTW.
I didn't think about Trump or MAGA shit once watching this series.
People are obsessed with modern politics, they will see it everywhere, can't help it.
People being oppressed by the current regime is a tale as old as humanity.
Luthen crap with the "what do i sacrifice" instantly comes to mind.
if you were living a life instead of shitposting from your room you'd know that people monologue in real life at certain times. The show is realistic.
What was in it for the fag on the left?
Power.
Isn't the empire human supremacist?
No. That's some EU shit or whatever, because the hack writers tried to retroactively explain relatively small amount of aliens in the first film due to the lack of budget. Palp's closest and most trusted associates were aliens. Empire being "human supremacist" was never stated in the movies or by Lucas - ever. There were shit ton of aliens in the Republic, and it became the Empire. Andor could have reintroduced the concept of alien racism and used it as a plot point to justify the pretentious snob director not wanting "silly aliens" in his "serious, prestige adult drama", but they didn't. The only two times he used aliens in speaking roles was for comic relief (the big brown ugly sequel-like alien being brought to intimidate cassian, and then the two goofy ugly fishing aliens catching andor and melshi).
"undocumented" have never been taken advantaged of or assaulted at any other point in human history accept now because Trump Maga ICE.
These things existed before the current administration. It has existed throughout history. Yes you can project Trump admin onto what's going on in the show, but to say that it was written with that in mind despite the fact this was written BEFORE current Trump admin implies things like this has never happened under any authoritarian regime.
Literally this
Yeah, the idiot didn't even film on location on a real mushroom planet or an underwater city and just used CGI
The prequels were trying way too many things at the same time and got mogged by the The Matrix and the Pirates movies in terms of visuals. But those were complex sequences involving a lot of moving pieces, meanwhile Andor has a giant budget and they aren't doing anything with it outside of a few couple of cool shots.
Diego, NO!
What a.faggot board lol
Basediego
Prequels look a trillion time better than Trandor, because Lucas knew how to actually use colors and lighting. Trandor is visually ugly, repulsive garbage, that looks like a generic show on Sci-Fi channel. You are a clueless retard.
Can't be more based than this.
Go back then, faggot
You should have browsed twitter instead. It's filled to the brim with your kind: nazis, chuds, white supremacists, and jeets larping as white supremacists
Yeah! Just like he actually filmed on a forest planet with small bear people! Or an actual space station!
You know what I mean. Quit pretended to be retarded.
/looks annoyed
/uses Google Translate
Oh. Well. No harm no foul. Carry on.
Andor has the same issue as Star Wars before Marcia Lucas saved that movie.
so in the episode where the white Imperial male, whose job is to round up undocumented residents, attempts to sexually assault the 'undocumented' latina woman that had nothing to do with modern politics?
You must love Sucker Punch.
remember, no Galactic Basic
if that happened today he would probably get sent to El Salvador, just like what happened to his character in the show.
Why is he using an AK-47?
Andor has a giant budget
They REALLY wanted to get their money's worth out of the wedding costumes/set
He's not even Salvadoran
Because they did a dumb and forgot that most people know what an AK looks like even with a couple greeblies stuck on it.
space London 2025
The group on the forest planet was painfully "cast in London", half of them is British blacks.
It is peak woke.
God I love those scenes.
I wish there was something clear and consistent for all of their uniforms.
We've got the enlightenment propaganda guys ofc, 3 ISB(Security), then 3 ISB(Science).
Admiral I guess, one single line of 6 blue has been used for that a few times.
Survey Corps or Science and Engineering Division maybe, guy who's talking about gouge mining.
Not sure what these two were.
Maybe the one in the back was another Survey Corps or science and Engineering Division.
Lazy prop design. All blasters are based on real guns but they got lazy as fuck with that one.
Because the prop designers were phoning it in that day, just glued some ridges onto an airsoft gun and called it a day.
Funny how these people have no principles they just want quick and easy money and will do anything to get it
how can you like Andor and not be a psycho liberal? isn't that what it's all about?
Hey psst,we should kill that guy
people forget that lucas is politically brainrotted using liberty as a dominant theme
>still no classic aliens that would make sense to appear
I love Naboo so much, bros.
What? They Rebels are portrayed as horrible people. Even the gay ones are bad people.
He sorts like that freak on Wez's bike from Road Warrior, the one that got a boomerang to the head.
Because the people who made this show are lazy hacks.
What if I said I think Naboo is a dumb, swamp planet?
that doesn't make him based it makes him retarded
He also said The Last Jedi was "beautifully made," but that might just mean he appreciated the cinematography. He's clearly on record for hating Force Awakens. No idea what he thought of the Rise of Skywalker (did he even watch it?), or Solo for that matter.
its a nonissue
Brown man has a gun looking thing
security finds it
immediately goes for the gun
Why are people like this
He checked out after TLJ m8, that's why there are no further takes by him
Definitely.
I feel like this is something he's had in his peripheral vision, but could never quite see properly, something he wanted to make but couldn't and now someone does it for him so he can enjoy it.
Because WW2 weapon are common in Stat Wars.
digital video.... eeeewwwwwww
Because I'm rooting for our favorite power couple.
Honestly, I enjoy the scenes at ISB HQ and the meeting with Krennic the best. Seeing the Empire operate from the inside is engrossing. Aside from the committee meeting at the Death Star we've never seen anything like it. Grubby rebels being grubby and rebellious is boring.
Naboo was great, but Episode 2 was pure trash.
Prequel hating Gen Xer's: "Lol, nobody gives a shit about space politics!"
Andor loving Gen Xer's: "OMG! I love this show about the Rebellions and Empires finances and supply chains!"
Gen Xer's and their shit taste fucked Star Wars into the ground
I think this is fine.
Unless I see a rebel human as an admiral of a mon calamari cruiser, then I will start complaining about DEI in star wars, those should only be controlled by squid head guys.
kek imagine Luthen just shows up in random happy scenes in movies and suggests to kill people
Many such cases.
For kids btw.
The AK didn't enter service until '48
What if the IRA were competent and backed by billionaire sponsors
He was on set for Solo, gave his input and directed a scene. Ron Howard is his close friend, after all. Out of all the Disney shit movies, Solo feels the most Lucasian.
I think that just means he liked TLJ visually only.
TLJ is shit. This is why I don't care about seeing these kinds of posts.
These movies can look good in stills, it doesn't change that these movies are bad.
Fucking rebel shits.
random happy scenes
I think you've missed the whole point of the arc.
I think you missed my joke
That's the established Rebel Alliance, they had resources to clean their uniforms.
She looks so fucking good in bronze colour.
Idk I like any scene of Dedra and Cereal together, they are cute as hell.
I think having mags on blasters could easily be explained away with
oh that's how they hold multiple standard energy cells, there's a surplus of them so it's cheaper this way
They should've stuck a few LED strips on it or whatever though. That said, I think it would look cooler if they held the energy cells in a revolver-style cylinder.
bros..
this difference in 4 years (like 3 realistically if we assume it took a year to roll out clean uniforms)
Did anyone get chills when she said?
I wish you were drunk
Why doesn't he have blankets on his bed?
I like the arm stockings, very nice detail.
Plenty of locations were filmed at real locations in the prequels. Naboo scenes were filmed on location with some sprucing up in post to get some sci fi stuff in there for example. The chroma keying was used for more fantastical stuff, like futuristic cities with flying cars and other assorted locales. Meanwhile, Empire Strikes Back revolutionized chroma keying and used a similar blue screen to the ones in the prequels
whose job is to round up undocumented residents
It's not, they are here for the grain, they are doing an audit.
Controlling people is a normal thing to do, I know you are obsessed, but people were doing this before Trump too. They are even saying that they know that some people are illegals and that it doesn't matter much, so they are not here just to arrest illegal people. The main characters are afraid because their visas will tell them that they are from Ferrix.
Taliban upgraded its uniform in less than a year.
The el salvador thing literally happened in Andor S1
Only three shots on this grid are actually good, so whoever made this failed to make a case for making TLJ look good in stills.
it doesn't change that these movies are bad.
No, they aren't. A billion times better than disney shit, that's for sure.
It just bummed me out. Mon Mothma's family is no where to be seen anywhere else and she's probably going to be forever alone by the time Rogue One happens and in RotJ she's just a sad, lonely old lady.
I love villains sitting at tables.
Unironically.
I do also hope for some more senate scenes with Mothma, I think those have a similar appeal to me.
arm stockings
Do maleoids really?
It was mentioned in season 1 by Saw Guerrera that the current state of the rebels is in shambles. They're all "Lost". He even mentions the specific rebel group we see in the first 2 episodes of Season 2. Maya Pei.
Controlling people is a normal thing to do, I know you are obsessed, but people were doing this before Trump too
Especially in Totalitarian states (which is the main source of inspiration for Empire ever since OT)
They're for cutters to hide their wrists
yeah, its crazy how pertinent the series is
TLJ is bad.
TPM is bad.
AOTC is bad.
Majority of Star Wars, pre and post Disney is bad. Accept this truth and be free, Anon.
TPM is bad
I still consider it the best Prequel.
she always looks good
I have no idea what they're called.
Nah, you're just a brainlet.
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
I don't mean I need an in-universe explanation for why they look like that. I'm saying the version of the rebel alliance in rogue one and andor was a deliberate creative choice made by the filmmakers and I think it sucks.
Absolute fuckin' milf.
It had the best hype around it. Debatable on best soundtrack in the saga next to ROTS.
But I do think it is the most over hated prequel, because of Jar Jar. That being said I don't think its a good movie.
Chandrilla aesthetic is all mix of Japan/China and Antique Rome/Greece
some retards still claims it's unStarWars
But Furloni clumsy attempts to copy Kurosawa is real Star Wars
Bix in the end of season 2
the floor is lav-AAAAAAHHHH
Stellan Skarsgard and Werner Herzog doing Star Wars and taking it really seriously is still fucking weird
calls me a brainlet
needs video essays to tell you why something is "good"
Yeah, eat shit. I'm not watching over 8 hours of video essay trash.
this isn't just star wars bro, its absolute cinema
why is there a video on how to watch star wars?
Some people have to be coached via Youtube clickbait fags to know when something is good or not.
im doubting your commitment to sparkle motion
Says they're all lost
They were literally lost in the woods
Bravo Gilroy
Yeah they're pretty bad.
OT
all good, if you think ROTJ is bad and ESB is good you're likely a stupid person, but not necessarily, depends on your reasoning.
PT
I think they're bad, but in the 4-6/10 sort of way.
There's dumb fun shit here and there, but only carried by the fact that it's star wars.
NT
I only watched TFA, it was fine with some really stupid stuff. Still better than PT, maybe on par with ROTS, it almost seemed like it could've built up towards something more. I can still rewatch PT for all of its faults since at least they build towards OT, but rewatching TFA for its own merits feel kinda pointless.
I realized though, I don't have to watch anything more, so I'll never see TLJ or TROS, I know enough to tell what they're about. In fact, if you watch them your opinion on them actually matters less than mine, since it shows how gluttonous and how poor your judgement is.
Other new stuff
Solo, Ashoka, Boba Fett didn't watch, maybe I should watch some of them idk.
Mandalorian, started good, went bad. Luke scene was good, it's not about that. It's just that it became a bit too much 90s hercules adventurer show where nothing feels like it matters, and they're just setting up future content. They should kill more characters, Grogu shouldn't come back, he was fun, but he was done, bringing him back showed you had no balls.
Rogue One, it was good.
Andor, great.
You can't unsubscribe to my blog I'm afraid, I will post again.
You needed video essays to tell you why something was bad, tho.
I'm starting to think the Rebellion are a bunch of retards. Especially since they overthrew the Empire and thing just got even worse
Because a lot of Star Wars fans are extremely stupid and, evidently, don't know how to watch Star Wars.
I like that Mon's husband being rich, tries to use Jedi robes as an aesthetic
George Lucas: Star Wars design is about bold design
I'm starting to think the Rebellion are a bunch of retards
Most revolutions have their fare share of retards, glad Gilroy is showing that
Aldani heist was based on Tiflis bank robbery in 1907 which makes Cassian Stalin of Star Wars, but since he died in R1... Yeah explains a lot
So where are they going to get their X-Wings and such from? They touched in it in Legends but right now the Rebels just seen like a bunch of idiots stealing money and not doing much else.
dont worry about it, patriots are in control, trust the plan, stand back and stand by
assumes I got my opinions from RLM when I've felt this way since those movies came out 20 years ago
People seem to forget that people didn't like these movies when they came out with the exception of RoTS.
Solo is cringe at times, but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. RO fell flat for me because I didn't give a fuck about the characters. Beautifully shot film though. Book of Boba fat is really bad. Ashoka is bad.
I agree with everything else you have said though. Except I wasn't a fan of the Luke scene in Mando at all. Took me out of the show. The buildup was great. I would have preferred a recast instead of a cartoon.
Didn't Saw have some?
ca ca cassian!
If the writers have any heart Cassian will transfer his consciousness to K2SO
Steal it from some shipyard, probably. It might be an end-of-the-season heist.
I'd like to see them use captured TIEs with some sort of early-rebel symbols/colors. Not exactly the same as the OT rebel aesthetic, but similar enough that you can see its evolution.
Aren't they those weird X-Wings that only have 2 cannons?
Luthen is going to kill B2EMO
The Biggs comic did have them stealing the X-Wings and it was pretty good. Maybe they'll do something like that.
shoots you
So where are they going to get their X-Wings and such from?
I think what happens on Ghorma will be Incom's prompt to start back-dooring X-Wings to Rebel forces (though "theft" if not outright donations), because if the Empire can do that to a rich world that provided valuable luxury, they can damn sure nationalize a ship manufacturer by force if they want to.
even this throwaway character is interesting
Future Deathtrooper there if he survived the grain
Z-95 Headhunter, a design the Navy rejected in favor of the TIE Fighter
holy fuck imagine if they give B a heros end. Imagine the heart strings, and the kino.
Talichuds have drip, how will women recover
Doesn’t look like the future, more like a modern day rich Japanese person’s house, like in a Kdrama when they show a conglomerate CEO’s mansion
They still have 3 years anon, have faith
Doesn’t look like the future
honestly? kill all right wing white men
Talichuds wagecucking to death now
ftfy
were those the guys that Palpatine let out of prison to try and hurt Chancellor Valorum?
I watch Andor solely for the story
the story
I'll keep Solo in mind for the future.
If she started kissing me on my face, like even just pecks on the forehead and cheeks I'd probably start crying and then kill myself because I know I've peaked in my life.
the worst thing about Solo is James Bond... you'll see.
That was my theory back in season 1 but now I don't know
so once Andor is done, what's the Official Viewing Order? do you watch RO first and then Andor, or the other way around?
Preston Jacobs & and his posse say the first 3 eps of S2 are "way better" than any of S1.
Are they actually mad?
so once Andor is done, what's the Official Viewing Order?
Rogue One -> A New Hope
ANH was filmed in the UK, where movie firearms were mostly limited to WWII surplus and the odd sporting weapon.
To equip dozens of people with similar weapons, it was easier to just use a bunch of surplus. The armorers stuck greeblies onto their existing stock of weapons (or did basically fuck all, like take the mag off a Lewis Gun) to provide space guns.
This established the SW gun aesthetic, and many guns that appear in SW are real guns with bits stuck on, or taken off, or both.
Over time, this was codified in (roughly) the following forms.
Empire
German and British military weapons, usually WWWII or generally historical
Rebels
If not using captured Imperial shit, they often have American weapons. Look closely and you'll see AR receivers all over the place.
Heroes
Because Han's Mauser became iconic, main characters often get a historical pistol, like Mando's Bergmann or Jyn Erso's Luger.
That Leia's blaster in ANH was a target pistol is also why you get other target / sporting pistols showing up. It's following the design established in the first ever piece of SW.
The space commie rebel cell in Andor
They have them AKs to fit in with the theme, but the 'issue' (if you even consider it one) is that every cunt recognises an AK instantly and they didn't disguise it enough - likely because they wanted the rebels at this point, who are insurgents, to be using AKs instead of the later AR pattern rifles that become their mainstay.
It's storytelling with props. The AKs that people bitch about are no different from other SW guns (they're more altered than some), but people fixate on small problems, what can you do?
To a gun person, identifying SW guns is fun. No-funs recognise an AK and shit their pants.
All blasters are based on real guns but they got lazy as fuck with that one.
Some of the original ones were literally just the guns without magazines or belts, and nothing changed. I don't see anyone bitching about them.
ahh so it is a nonissue? that makes sense.
The Sterling wasn't actually issued until '53, what's your point?
ANH was filmed in the UK, where movie firearms were mostly limited to WWII surplus and the odd sporting weapon.
This completely falls apart when you realize that they wanted the A-280 to be the StG-44, but they didn't have StG-44 props so they nigger-rigged M16 props to look like StGs. The newer game corrected this and now you have variants that are m16s and variants that are StGs
Gross that faggot is watching this? I'd really prefer we got back to forgetting that he existed.
Has doge fired him from his federal lazy girl job yet?
This actress is also in Fortnite. It's a funny thing I like to mention every time she's in something. Of all things she was in Fortnite before Star Wars made her famous.
She was a famous actress before she was in fortnite, retard
Andor, Rogue One, 4, 5, 6
Name one thing she was in before Fortnite because I have never heard of her
New
True Detective, Narcos, Triple Frontier. Just off the top of my head.
No, it demonstrates how the aesthetic of Rebels using AR pattern weapons firmed up from RotJ onwards. It wasn't all planned immediately, it evolved based on taking what they had and then using that precedent as future inspiration.
UK / Europe based productions used existing stock. UK film industry was full of surplus from the wars, used in their own movies, usually about Brits vs Jerries or other enemies. A whole generation of British kids was confused as to why British soldiers were using Stormtrooper blasters.
StGs were used in ESB, from RotJ onwards the rebel blaster was firmed up as an AR pattern.
The original idea, from necessity, establishes design that future people carry forward. Leia's blaster is a target pistol, so Naboo guns are target pistols. Rebels on Endor use ARs, so in Rogue One the Rebels are outfited like Vietnam grunts down to a gunship with an M-60 door gunner.
The original objection was the existence of an AK. The reason is that SW uses real weapons, and over time a theming became entrenched to establish and continue visual language.
The appearance of an AK begs the question why? Why do the insurgent proto-rebels have AKs? Because they are not yet the American-armed Rebel Alliance; they are space commies robbing a a bank to fund space terrorism. So they get given the terrorist gun. It's quite simple.
As to whether one likes or dislikes this, that's down to the individual. The AK had to be reconisable - just like all the other SW guns - to make the point. That younger people can identify an AK instantly but don't know what a Luger or a Sterling is on sight is a sign of shifting general information, or a lack of caring to gain knowledge.
It's a matter of taste, not a lack of intention. Like reaction to all of Andor in a microcosm.
daughter doesn't know what she's getting into, boy clearly isn't ready for it. mon also didn't know what she was getting into when she got married.
Notice how nobody at the wedding had been to a chandrilan wedding, or hadn't been to one since Mon's. Its clearly a dead practice.
No, it demonstrates how the aesthetic of Rebels using AR pattern weapons firmed up from RotJ onwards
No, the game corrected the lore and returned to the original intent, which was stylistic WW2 like everything else in Star Wars.
cheeky bum slap between the girls is fine.
