Stupid anons, Bong Jong Il explicitly said the Marshall's character is not based on any specific individual but is "a mix of many different politicians" and "dictators that we have seen throughout history". In other words the supporters wearing red hats, the Trump mannerisms and the fact that he nearly gets assassinated and ends up with the bullet scraping the side of his face are just coincidences and you're just projecting.
