What am I missing?
Should I allow my sons to watch these movies?
What am I missing?
Should I allow my sons to watch these movies?
i donno
What should i expecto patronum
Yeah, they're fine.
first 4 are kino. books are better though
You should hook them up with Witch Trainer Silver
read the books, faggot
Have you ever seen me cum super hard?
Should I allow my sons to watch these movies?
Yes.
read the books instead
My 6 year old has no interest in watching the first movie when i turned it on. He still made me buy him a Harry Potter wand at universal studios though. I was shocked how many adults love this shit.
Oh man I remember seething about the muggle clothes switchover lol
Read the books instead.
You are not missing much. They range from "alright" to "mediocre".
Maybe watch 1-3 and then just ignore the rest.
The actors really aren't that great, especially the Harry Potter guy has like two facial expressions. It becomes eerie when they get older.
And the directors all decide to with "dark and gloomy" starting with the third movie with ugly color correction and spooky special effects. Feels like a haunted house movie series after that point. Maybe they thought it was an Addams Family spin-off.
Only the first book/film are worth it since they're the most whimsical. Rowlings worldbuilding after was pretty shitty.
ur missing best girl
yes fine movies for kids
The films are good, especially the later one after Emma Watson is of legal age. Once that happens you will notice that the film makers push her as the "something for the dads".
They were written before JK Rowling went on an anti-trannie crusade and there are no gaylords amongst the characters (Dumbledor is, but she only decided that after the books were written) so there won't be many awkward questions. The worst thing you'll have to explain to your kids is that one of the teachers is an incel who murders another one of the Hogwarts staff and was a member of a Nazi/popularist group in the past, but thats all towards the end of the series.
I went with my sister to the Cursed Child play. She wanted the lot, but had to settle for a couple of hoodies and some scarves. I did buy her the pen set, though.

I think that's revealed towards the end of the last movie. Most people won't think too hard about it. It's a fridge logic problem.
Once that happens you will notice that the film makers push her as the "something for the dads".
They could have pushed harder. She didn't nearly show enough leg in these movies.
Imagine fuQing her butt in that dress
They're trash. A cash grab. They also spawned a generation of mediocre a-list/b-list celebrities, the worst of whom is of course Emma Watson.
Bong genes clearly favour the loli aficionados.
Some people didn't have to imagine it.
I was shocked how many adults love this shit.
first book released 28 years ago
I had it read to me by my teacher in english class in elementary school, so people grew up with the books
It has a giant fanfic scene where women write smutty erotica stories about the characters.
Could she have been big if she hadn't gone down the feminist route?
Maybe watch 1-3 and then just ignore the rest.
this.
Nah, only genuinely talented people who are actually driven and ambitious will make it and have long careers.
The later movies have their moments.
I don't think she was a Harvey girl in the Jennifer Lawrence sense. She was an already established actress at the end of HP so she may have gotten Hollywood gigs by her own accord. She was probably diddled by Uncle Harvey though.
feminism probably made her feel like a used hollywood playtoy.
when she's asked in interviews why she quit acting, she pretty much says as much.
Which interview?
The films are good, especially the later one
you have shit taste
If only she'd reconcile with Jo so she can return as a sexy leggy Mcgonagall.
Here OP lemme save you like 18 hours of screen time by skipping to the end
It was such a betrayal of the very premise of the world.
They put so much fucking effort into Diagon Alley in the first and second movies, showing the world itself to be something completely different to what we're used to. And then, movie 3, they just decide "nah all the kids dress like modern children" probably because it was cheaper and easier on the costumes department.
The rot was there early though. There's an interview with Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) where he says he had to pitch his own costume. They wanted to put him in just a fairly normal pinstripe suit, and he literally had to grab random shit from the costumes department and bring it to the director to approve because he knew that a magic blood racist wouldn't dress like a muggle.
Expectations are even lower for the HBO series.
Albus Severus
named after two manipulative bastards
ends up in Slytherin
pottery
Retard alert. The Yates movies are unwatchable garbage.
Expectations are even lower for the HBO series.
I for one am looking forward for Da'Snape wearing a baseball cap and Jordans
ends up in Slytherin
NOT canon.
Da'Snape
You mean De'Severus Snape-Jackson
4 is based because the fact that the two other schools were gender divided upsets trannies.
Me own fookin' son neva seen a 'Arry Pottah movie?
Sure. They are pretty well-made movies and the themes resonate with kids
I believe in the books there were boys at Beauxbatons who atteneded the Tri-Wizzy
French male wizards have to wear dresses too, that's where the confusion comes from
I would say nah
Do you want your son to be a HP nerd, SW nerd or whatever?
the two other schools were gender divided upsets trannies.
They weren't though. Nicholas Flamel the dude that created the Philosopher's Stone went to school at Beauxbatons.
HECK'N KEK'N KEKAROOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lel
Didn't Rowling write that awful theater thing?
No. Rowling actually did not write The Cursed Child.
That sounds like a retcon. You can't trust anything that isn't in the original books cos JK is famous for just making shit up after the fact
b-b-but all writers make shit up!
No but she makes up shit that didn't even happen in her fictional world.
There's this really famous podcast clip where she says she likes Slytherin and her favourite moment is when the Slytherins return to the battle of Hogwarts with reinforcements. This is not in her book.
I was talking about the movie. It made many obvious improvements over the meandering book. The dragon task is another good example.
She's on paper as co-writer but essentially she signed off on someone else's fanfic.
And before you read too much into the fact she signed off on it, there could be all sorts of contractual reasons that she might have to even if she didn't want to.
I believe she has tweeted that it's canon, but fuck her. She was willing to retcon everything about her work to appease the same leftoids that eventually crucified her. Her own opinion of what is and isn't canon is not only irrelevant, but it is in the interests of people who actually like her original books to keep her far away from them now
An agreeable stance.
This is like taking the ghost army from the Return of the King movie seriously. It's dumb Hollyjew shit. Obviously Russians must be cold and hard strong mentally men while a place with Beaux in its name must be beautiful dainty women despite beaux also being used to describe handsomeness in males. They just fucked it all up.
Raceus Disgraceus!
Movie 6 was a nice romcom with basically no real plot. It has some fun scenes, but it also kind of pointless.
