You SICK fucking CHUD
remember when it was doctor chud?
kys
I miss the 2000s bros...
I have a visual gripe with the current iteration of the show. Everything looks too clean. Clothes, hair, buildings, there's isn't a spec of dust or dirt anywhere.
It ruins the immersion because I can't believe these are real lived in settings and characters.
Are we gonna get a new midget every season now?
Galifrey
I hope they get progressively more deformed with even stubbier fingers
They will all be good guys!
You can't be disabled AND evil
You've never watched the classic series have you
I thought the most recent episode was good but couldn't help but think it would've been way better of Tennant or Smith were in the place of Gatwa.
He just doesn't sell the ancient and dangerous vibe well. Not so much a physical problem as it is his voice. It doesn't have sharpness or bite. Its very bouncy.
Why did she lie about not looking back?
Why are they so retarded?
RTD1 Doctor
There are no such things as gods, every god is made up by people.
RTD2 Doctor
I've personally met every god.
RTD is such an inconsistent hack. That African spider episode made no fucking sense.
I've never had a black body before.
Later that episode:
Shows the Doctor's past fat black woman self.
how angry are we going to be when we find out susan biregenerated and belinda is the other half
If The Doctor Falls faded to black after "I thought there'd be stars..." with just the sound of a regeneration it would've been a perfect ending to nu-Who's Doctor's arc.
The Rani bigenerating into an Indian woman guarantees this will be the case. I've already accepted it. I won't be mad, I'm just stoically staring at the train wreck.
Show me one picture of Gallifrey looking like that in Classic Who.
She's kinda hot though to be fair.
The End
No, she's Indian.
Is your homosexuality curable?
Not any longer, Grandfather. You are still my family and always will be. But now, you’re a woman too. I want you to belong somewhere, to have roots of your own. With Bellinda, you will be able to find those roots and live normally like any woman should do. Believe me, my dear, your future lies with Bellinda and not with a silly old buffer like me. One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. Goodbye, Grandfather. Goodbye, my dear.’
Man, her skin does not look good. I know she's old but it reminds me of burn victims.
The 70's did their work on all British women at the time
I go by Billy now, not Billie.
all the religious stories and myths told by all humans throughout history were written by an uncredited black man from Africa
Human Nature (novel) > Human Nature (TV)
Shame they were ruined by Cornell writing that story about 13 releasing the girl from the mirror
Story over spectacle
RTD era
lmao
bros i wish the doctor wasn't a gay nigger
How long until she fully troons out?
Probably when her bf dumps her
that episode felt like one of those half baked ones from the chinball era
I really don't like that Kat watches all the new episodes ahead of time. It makes every episode so awkward how she tries to join Paula's commentary without saying anything of substance since it would spoil the show for Paula. They should just both watch every episode new at the same time.
Who the fuck is this retard?
The shitty half of the Gallifrey Gals reaction channel.
Gallifrey Gals
doesn't want to be called a gal
????
They're both shit.
She wasn't always like this.
I can save her...
the most recent episode was good
Who hurt you? The only good one was The Well.
He just doesn't sell the ancient and dangerous vibe well
That's understating the worst problem in the show right now, even at the end of Interstellar Song Contest he sounds like he's cattily flirting with the terrorist instead of genuinely wanting him dead.
damn she actually looks more attractive now
still funny though that she's willingly participating in a channel that calls her a gal, while also requesting to not be called a gal
I watched Gallifrey Gals react to the Demons and Angels Red Dwarf episode and they were both seething about it being offensive to the BDSM kink community or some shit
She's just as insufferable as Kat, she agrees with her on everything. You only like her because she hasn't fallen down the non-binary rabbit hole and doesn't put retarded make-up on all the time.
The African spider episode came across like RTD really, really, really wanted the Doctor to meet the actual Anansi because THEYRE BOTH BLACK AND TRICKY U GUYS but someone somehow shouted him down and forced him to, very reluctantly, make a scifi episode.
13 releasing the girl from the mirror
WHY HER
LITERALLY WHY HER
THEY'RE ALL COMPLICIT MONSTERS
WHY HER
Because she 'learned her lesson' or something
It baffles me
youtube.com
Some dumbfuck writer who doesn't realise she's a creature who ate a little girl, not an actual little girl.
I kept waiting for the "harbinger" moment to reveal him as one of the pantheon fags, like he'd be the God of Stories or something, and the longer it went on the more confused and disappointed I felt. The whole thing was such a wet fart.
Maybe that's all it takes to redeem the Midnight entity, just look like a cute girl on one of the Doctor's more feminine mood swings lmao
You'd think the writer would know that given he literally wrote the novel and the episode she's from
For me it's emme
Wouldn't be the first author to be wrong about their own story
I don't like the pantheon fags as a collective group because it just comes across like it demystifies a lot of Who villains ("The Dream Lord is not the Valeyard, not a hallucination and nothing else, he's just Sutekh's bastard") for the sake of giving normies a braindead THIS IS A GOD, THE DOCTOR WILL STRUGGLE AGAINST THIS ONE sign. But fuck, it would've been better than what we got with the Story Nigger.
The way his redemption is handled is the most baffling part to me, though. Everyone just kind of walks off like he didn't spend literally millennia seething about apparently being entitled to godhood. Also the writing for the demigoddess was extremely weak, so she hates Anansi but she's also shocked and appalled her co-conspirator wants him dead but she also forgives him like nothing ever happened because he made a sad face at her? If I give the episode the benefit of the doubt, AND I REALLY SHOULD NOT, I think the idea is the Doctor sabotaged the spider ship as a kind of shit test to see if he'd spare the people aboard it while the terrorist in Interstellar Song Contest just vented people without warning, and liked what he saw. But all of that discounts the fact this sad old nigga's plan was extremely premediated. All of which is setting aside the fact that the episode is asking you to buy that murdering gods is ontologically evil at face value even though the Doctor chucks one into some sort of vortex every other Tuesday.
Wouldn't be the first author to be wrong about their own story
As an aside, I'm still fucking mad season 11 of Supernatural nailed Chuck as a flawed but fundamentally benevolent God only to turn him into a redneck's idea of SMT YHWH at the end of S14 simply because they ran out of villains and I guess everyone decided the Empty was too pathetic to be the last one.
She's still feminist, but she's way less woke and way more articulate. Paula gives real thoughts and opinions and is capable of making connections between things. Kat always feels like she's just parroting shit she heard from other people, or waiting to hear what Paula says so she can piggyback off it. Just watch the end of the S15E01 reaction for a great example. Paula gives her opinions and offers some actual nuance like calling the messaging too on the nose and explaining how that brings the episode down and how it could have been improved. Kat has nothing to add other than saying, "YEAH!" and then slightly paraphrasing the last thing Paula said; then Paula gives Kat the opportunity to give her full thoughts and the only thing she says is, "I couldn't believe they killed a cat!" Then the episode ends after some inconsequential and extremely cliche back and forth about the cat death.
damn she actually looks more attractive now
you're joking
sorry I like tomboys
Also while I'm still ranting about RTD's backwards-ass morality, it's extremely fucked up they just leave the Corporation be because a strong black woman Hellion (Hellions are not inherently black-coded by the way, but only the white girl is redeemable for some reason) sang a Hellion song that kind of sounded like if a chimpanzee tried opera. And the episode really seems to want you to treat it like the Rings of Akhaten's song despite giving it a fraction of the gravitas.
Any other Doctor, except maybe that wet blanket 13, would've exposed the genocide of Hellia to the universe and shut the whole thing down for being built on blood.
I want to correct all the misconceptions everyone has about my people and expose the injustices visited upon us by the corporation who burned down our world for profit and turned everyone against us
sings a song in some complete unintelligible made-up language so no one can even understand the story it's telling
The writers genuinely believed the Doctor didn't need to do anything because this solved the entire problem instantly forever.
The episode was a stark reminder to me that Disney is Doctor Who's current sugar daddy, and therefore corporations can't be held TOO hard to account in fiction or people will start pointing fingers at one of the most evil of them IRL.
I didn't think of that, but you're probably right.
I always knew you were gay
She was a lot younger than the young girl.
You are homosexual.
liking tomboys used to be a perfectly acceptable straight preference before lgbt faggotified everything
i will not change my values because of them
I'm mad that the Susan Twist was NOT that she's Susan Foreman.
Kerblam was the same and that was pre-disney.
bigeneration is a legend only made possible by a very specific set of circumstances that still make it a one in a billion chance of happening
the Rani bigenerates with absolutely zero fanfare or even shock or surprise of any kind
Every regeneration is going to be a bigeneration from now on, isn't it...
Short hair on females isn't attractive.
Until RTD leaves.
They're saying it's the most wrong anyone has ever been.
youtube.com
Kerblam was still set during 13's run so it was well into the full enshittification of the show. Man, remember when people were complaining about how the Doctor condescended to UNIT during the Sycorax invasion? Always seems wild to me what kind of shit people complain about shows before compared to after they go full retard.
RTD cries a lot whenever he thinks about his dead boyfriend, please understand.
Left haircut > right haircut
What's his dead husband got to do with it?
The normalisation of biigeneration is clearly a kneejerk reaction to his fear of death and abandonment.
so how will people react to billie piper being the 16th doctor?
Everyone eats up memberberry shit like that, so the hype will be strong. If you go watch reviews of Doctor Who episodes the vast majority of them pick out every reference or callback as an inherently good thing.
no, billie piper is going to end up being a bi generated susan because RTD is a pervert
They wont because there is no actor picked yet. He's going to regenerate into nothing
Just like Jodie :)
