I like Shotcaller but it was a huge downgrade from Felon which was a 10/10 prison flick. Shotcaller should've documented Money's transformation from start to finish instead of its wobbly non-linear bullcrap setup. Lean into Money getting deeper with the AB because he was bored of his suburban cuckold lifestyle. It's massive wasted potential. Also, Bottles and Redwood should've had more of a role.

GET THIS FUCKING LAME AWAY FROM ME

Your ass is greenlit

We'll see about that when your old lady and kid are laying in blood, and you have to live with knowing it's your fault.

good to see you getting your hands dirty.

is it me or he looks like Kevin Durant (rat catcher from strained)

someone put in some work and post it

Kill norteños. Behead norteños. Roundhouse kick a norteño into the concrete. Slam dunk a norteño baby into the trashcan. Crucify filthy norteños. Defecate in a norteño's food. Launch norteños into the sun. Stir fry norteños in a wok. Toss norteños into active volcanoes. Urinate into a norteño's gas tank. Judo throw norteños into a wood chipper. Twist norteños' heads off. Report norteños to the IRS. Karate chop norteños in half. Curb-stomp pregnant Khazar norteños. Trap norteños in quicksand. Hail Mary a baby norteño into a volcano. Crush norteños in the trash compactor. Liquefy norteños in a vat of acid. Eat norteños. Dissect norteños. Exterminate norteños in the gas chamber. Stomp norteño skulls with steel toed boots. Cremate norteños in the oven. Lobotomize norteños. Mandatory abortions for norteños. Grind norteño fetuses in the garbage disposal. Drown norteños in fried chicken grease. Vaporize norteños with a ray gun. Kick old norteños down the stairs. Feed norteños to alligators. Slice norteños with a katana.

ANYBODY SEEN RICHIE!?

Anybody know why Richie did Bobby Lupo…???

thread is dead, I'm calling the sharts here now

i laughed so hard when i saw this. the fuck are you doing Weston

Can you avoid all this shit in prison?

No I completely disagree. It turns prison into some weird slave gladiator shit and says being a lone wolf doesn't work despite Val Kilmer basically being that to some absurd anime power level. Between the better cast in in shot caller and the overall message that men can be forced to joining gangs to survive in a hostile environment like prison. Also way more quotable lines

Keep putting in that work

Make no mistake brother, I love Shotcaller as much as the next wood, but Felon is indeed the superior prequel.

Don't feel like working tbqh

Think of your family.

Literally just finished this right now. I thought it was really interesting and dramatic in the right ways. What did other anons think of the ending? I thought it was properly bitter sweet and the end conflict was well structured and very Mcguiver.

Perfect movie, for me. The runtime flew by me. I really, really enjoyed it. A stone-cold no nonsense thriller from the old days that told a simple and concise story with real artistry.

i can't be seen on this board posting with anyone who's validated

You guys did hoop your copy, right?

I'm not joining a fucking gang if I go to prison that's for sure. Surely not everyone has to.

So, when we say “burn local but keep it gully,” we talkin’ ‘bout stayin’ rooted where you from—your block, your people, your struggle—but not lettin’ that box you in. Burnin’ local means you puttin’ heat on your own turf, buildin’ from the soil, turnin’ your hood into a hotbed of energy, culture, movement.

Best film ever made and I say this as a certified keyholder

Who holds the keys to Anon Babble?

I always thought he could play a decent James Hetfield in a Metallica biopic

I love how it was shot. It was really gritty and entthralling. It was shot like The Shield and I loved every second. The black guard getting killed made me cum.

Yes they do. You will not be left alone. You have to join and make sure you're not a pushover but also don't resist or play hard. You have to tow the line with everything you do or say. You also do have to put in work, no joke. But mostly its just standing in group and doing as you're told.

I'm not muscular they won't want me to stand around. And I'm pretty sure most people in prison aren't in a prison gang. I'll join the library and chess club and church.

Maybe they won't get you for work but you'll need to be an associate of some affiliation to survive. You're one more extra body they can use for shit, muscular or not.

Keep putting in those Burn Notices, anon.

Money gives up his entire life within his first 3 months of being imprisoned. Also, Money abandons his family for no reason (it’s not to protect them; they will be threatened by Beast regardless).

he didn't give up his life, he put in the work, took the keys and called the shots you lame

prison isn't like it is in movies
the vast majority of prisoners just want to do their time and get out

Threads like this force us to become warriors or victims. Nothing in between can survive here.

is there a problem here?

make cautionary tale about criminality, war, violence etc.

it invariably makes criminality, war and violence look cool as fuck

TOTAL JANNY DEATH

imagine being able to do 500 navy seals, i can barely do 5 without getting and asthma attack

tfw told to do 500 navy seal ripper count ems

can't even do 2 when I tried my hardest today

what the fuck am I supposed to do

d-do you guys shit without pulling your pants down to your ankles?

keep putting in that work

naw dawg you gotta be ready to throw in the yard when the shot caller puts out the word, can't be caught with your pants down so-to-speak
