I've seen this movie and it's very much Smallville: The Movie. The dynamic between Lex and Clark is similar despite them not growing up each other. Lex is very hammy and petulant and has some dubious moments and lines, much like Jesse Eisenberg's Lex in Batman v Superman. Corenswet is excellent though he isn't given the best material to work with as this Superman is a little too emotional and there's little distinction between his two identities. The supporting cast is bloated as hell but fun to watch, everyone has notable moments equally distributed. As for it's chances at the box office? I'm thinking it might do Minecraft movie numbers because it's a very unpoliticized (if you can believe that) movie and has a very light and energetic tone.

That entire scene is fixed if you just have Superman say "Martha Kent" as if he's talking about a random citizen that's been kidnapped and hiding his identity. Batman could still have the same reaction to the first name and Lois could still reveal it's Superman's mother after seeing Batman's reaction
