Final Destination: Bloodlines

what
the
FUCK

You could film a turd in a toilet bowl for two hours and call it a horror movie and it would automatically get a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Brec bros, you're going to support her right?

It's good, but the ending sucked.

FD2 > FD1 > Bloodlines > FD5 > POWER GAP > FD4

Confirmed to be the only ones to cheated death.

Um sweetie the BROWN TURD in the toilet represents the plight of underprivileged minorities trying to keep afloat in a WHITE SOCIETY you CHUD, that's why it's 90%

You forgot 3 which is the best one.

Apparently. Genuinely looked horrible based on the trailer. And by look I mean visually, cheap effects and camera work.

in 3 there's a newspaper headline saying they died

NO ONE CHEATS DEATH

Retconned. They outright state their names.

Shit, you're right.

It's good, but the ending sucked

Whats the ending??

It came out in my country last week. I really enjoyed it. Fair warning though, they have abandoned the sinister tone for the most part and have embraced the sillier tone of parts of the previous couple films. For the first time it feels less like Death is pissed off over having her plans foiled and more like she's having at laugh at the victims as she picks them off one by one

So like Saw X where critics were too good for the trashy franchise until they weren't and decided to like the last movie

Tony Todd mentions Kimberly as an example of someone who managed to cheat death once. He never says anything about her still being alive.

So le funny terrifier gore with a hint of "generational trauma" for the critics?

monkey.jpg - 1200x676, 95.36K

Not really. The humor comes from the movie being self aware about the inherent silliness of the whole "rules of Death" thing and having fun with it, it isn't because of any epic bacon redditor humor. It doesn't feel like it's ashamed of itself, like your pic related, for example. And the generational trauma stuff is a non factor. Pure window dressing and never gets in the way of the good stuff

They do the "only new life can create death" thing again by having one of the leads drown to death and be revived by her brother. Months pass, and during their graduation ceremony they learn a person can only be legally considered dead by drowning if they stop breathing for six minutes. Since the protag was only out for two, they didn't manage to cheat and then a train falls on them.

Anon the newspaper thing wasnt even part of the movie. It was part of the dvd menu and never canon

Apparently there was a second ending on the official screenings (there are3)

you're a goddamn moron

why are you such a chud?

Critics like it now cause its "elevated" slasher and the lead is non-white

cause its "elevated" slasher

but it isn't. Have you seen the webms?

this one is actually worth going out of the house for. Go see it.

Months pass

It always feels like a deliberate trolling from Death for the final survivours.

legally considered dead by drowning if they stop breathing for six minutes

Oh right, because Death took the Hippocratic Oath.

Tony Todd on death's door looking like a literal skeleton

Would've been the perfect time to reveal he was Death all along

There's literally nothing in the movie that mentions time frames. The doctor just says that a person who momentarily stops breathing and is brought back through CPR isn't technically dead, medically speaking

The garbage truck death is KINO

Are you serious, they still didn't do that?

That's retarded.

Thats disrespectful

twist downer endings are more cliche than happy endings in horror movies and have been for like 5 decades

Some OpenAI employees are working with Hollywood screenwriters on a script-writing AI that uses data on audience reactions to guide the process. One of the employees talked about this film on Xitter. Very possible this film was written with the help of AI.

another final destination movie where everyone dies

Boring. Not going to see it. They did the same thing in 4 with the rollercoaster.

Retard

no trauma metaphor or feminist bullshit, "social commentary" like nuhorror

I'm in

The premonitions, the death settings and especially the ending are underwhelming. But it's a fun time. The nose ring guy is the best part.

Its called final destination
