We seriously need some young, fresh blood in these franchises. Not just the cast either. People who actually relish the opportunity. And especially for the women, don't have a huge chip on their shoulder like a lot of these established names who quite clearly see it as beneath them to be making movies and shows where the audience is predominantly male. I think they want to bury The Gifted from the MCU. They could've also gotten Skyler Samuels to do Emma Frost in the new cartoon if they wanted too since they're not using the original voice actress. The original voice actress for Polaris is also still alive. I didn't like the cartoon reboot, so I don't really care.

The Gifted was never part of the MCU anyway.

The Fox movies and Netflix shows were never part of the MCU either and they are shoehorning them in any way they can. All the Fox, Hulu, FX and Freeform shows they had in the 2010s are like the bastard step children they are pretending never existed. If Magneto is still going to be a Holocaust survivor that means he has to be around 90 years old today, so it makes total sense that his daughter would be in her 50s. If anything it's odd that Magneto has such young children in the comics, which is of course a consequence of the fact that most characters in comics don't age in real time, but Magneto does because his history is tied to WW2.

Not just older girls, but even young women are doing the lesbian or nonbinary thing now. Recently graduated from college and most of the girls I knew who were ultra popular and promiscuous in high school who didn't get married are currently claiming to be lesbian. It's just a trend.
