What makes this scene so epic?
What makes this scene so epic?
It makes losers like me and you feel like we could stand up for ourselves
This
The music
Walt was almost never a loser in the traditional sense lmao I don't know where did you fags get that from
Yes he was. Dead end job, disabled son, broke, bitchy wife, condescending dick brother in law.
married to a domineering wife who has affairs and seemingly doesn't love him
has two jobs - one as a teacher, another at a car wash
only son is disabled (possibly due to aforementioned wife smoking while pregnant - which she also does)
his friend and ex-girlfriend (who ended up marrying each other) have made billions off his work
is respected by literally no-one
Walt was almost never a loser
Lol Walt was a whiny little bitch loser with plot armor and luck. He couldn't even control a classroom of high schoolers
DEAD NIGĜERS ELECTRIFIEDDDDD
Even with that being said he always had genius levels of intelligence which almost none of the viewers self-inserting have as well as courage that none of the viewers have as well lmao.
He was retarded for not staying in the business that could have made him billions because of muh getting cucked but yeah he had a bad case of the ego. And Skyler didn’t really cheat until she realised she was married a meth cook
He couldn't even control a classroom of high schoolers
lol trust me almost nobody can nowadays
when walt tries to be le badass it's still so cringe
There are no epic scenes in the whole show. Every single character has shit motives and no good qualities. Not to mention each of the main characters get constantly bitch slapped around multiple times in the show destroying any credibility.
I rewatched BB recently and jesus christ it did not age well, every character is so two dimensional, it works for people like saul but everyone is just so generic
the plot is only moved forward by jessie being a schizo and they go way overboard with it, half the series he's pissing and shitting his pants and having mental breakdowns all the time, meanwhile all of the B plots are just total nonsense, marie has kleptomania? who gives a fuck
This. Any “cool” scene is immediately followed by them screaming and crying about something.
condescending dick brother in law
Maybe I need to rewatch it but I always had the impression of Hank being cool to him and them being on good terms before the events of the series.
Walt clearly felt some genuine attachment to Hank and was devastated when he was killed
the show is one long grand theft auto cut-scene
I IZ DEWAN HOONOX
B-B-B-B-BONFIRE
Hank is the only character who has potential to be a good guy
make him have a mental breakdown after he was attacked and become a total weirdo
also make him constantly tell super offensive jokes so it’s okay to not like him
MINERALS
Had that been me I would have not found the guy in the parking lot after.
THIS IS BEGINNING TO FEEL LIKE THE DOG'S LOST THE LEAD
The show very hamfistedly makes everyone bully Walt in the first episode. And Hank treats him like a bitch. He even steals Walt's beer at his own birthday party. Of course it's not nearly as bad after, but they clearly wanted you to feel like Walt was constantly humiliated by everyone around him. That way you could root for him as he got into increasingly heinous acts.
By the end of S4, they realized they fucked up because people were still on his side. So they made one more season where he's a cartoon villain.
gta cutscenes are great so i understand why breaking bad is the best show of all time
breaking bad and better call saul are ZOG conditioning, walter white is a total beta cuck but something in him switches off and he becomes a total aryan beast exercising his will to power, but everytime he does, the writing magically beats him down into bad circumstances, crying fits and he gets defeated by psychopathic beaners and morally superior powerful jews.
in a non-pozzed version of Breaking Bad, walter would have done steroids to get jacked as fuck, become much more violent, fucked that latina co-worker and more women, hank would end up dying to the cartel, "heisenberg" would be some germanic or roman deity instead, and in the end he would blow up a government building or FBI while dying in a shootout like the super powerful crime lord he became.
preferably he would be hipfiring the M60 while screaming in the ending scene btw.
i couldn't agree more.
hank is actually the only real good guy and consistent character, he gets PTSD because he went from being very integrated in his FBI environment to a bunch of stuck up guys who seemed more powerful, and then out of nowhere got obliterated by a bomb. it makes it seem like hes utterly powerless to do anything, then later he gets called that hes about to be assassinated and he has no idea why who or how.
the minerals thing is because hes subconsciously become obsessed with heisenberg, the crystal meth resemble crystals/minerals. he can't do anything anymore but keeps ordering these literal rocks.
sorry, mixed up DEA and whichever other place he went to.
Except WHITE still won despite the very universe conspiring against him
he had a wife and got laid, therefore he's not a loser
You have to be 18 to post on this board
not according to the show writers, you're supposed to see him as a villain who deserved death much much earlier and more humiliatingly
walter white is a total beta cuck but something in him switches off and he becomes a total aryan beast exercising his will to power, but everytime he does, the writing magically beats him down into bad circumstances
Disagree, he scores nonstop victories through S1-S4. Of course he has setbacks, but he still wins bigger and bigger victories.
defeated by (...) morally superior powerful jews.
You mean Gretchen & Elliot? They won before the show's timeline. But in the show itself they're just yuppie comic relief. Especially in their last scene.
Although I do agree the writers' ultimate message was "if you snap out of your beta life and try to get ahead outside of the confines of the system, you deserve to die".
Walt's the underdog and in reality even low level meth retards like that guy could've torn Walt's sickly middle aged teacher body apart.
But Walt makes up for it by having nothing to lose being good at bluffing, and each time he pulls stuff off like telling that guy to stay out of his territory it's exciting yet plausible.
Hank liked Walt but like many others didn't respect Walt as a man in the masculine scene, which got under his skin. An exaggeration to say he was a total asshole but it was definitely there. It says something about Hank's own insecurities, which also come under examination in the show.
when is hank insecure?
your not the boss of me now
Kino.
you have to hate the character because he told a joke
Being a zoomer must be exhausting.
Small guy, big ego archetype. Had to be The Man in every situation. Punched down on small fries like junkies. Taken aback encountering a big fry for once. Got moved from his small pond to the ocean, where the big fish don't respect him and he's the one subjected to one-sided "banter" he doesn't like. Got a taste of the real Wild West and was shook. Through this and more episodes, he questions what kind of man he really is. Also hated rely on his wife and was out of his depth when it came to anything intimate.
i didnt really get that at all, his reason for beating up pinkman was because of the unexplainable call he got about his wife in the hospital, all the other stuff was PTSD stuff, those other guys were genuinely no fun having assholes and supposedly higher up and more competent but got blown away like nothing infront of his face, it was about seemingly everyone being powerless and weak asides from seeing bodyparts flying everywhere like it was afghanistan.
He was working two jobs and had a disabled child and lost billions after he sold his share in the Grey Matter business if you look at it from his perspective he failed to live up to his own potential
Thats one thing i always get me too, i think hank personality can throw some people off bit he genuinely seems to care for walt and Even walt didn't seem to care much about hank making jokes about him
disabled son
???????????????
what is this scene?
"Get out of my territory"
every character is so two dimensional
Yeah if you compare it to earlier shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, or Mad Men, the characters are extremely shallow. And ledditors will always think Walt and Jesse were good character development. But, really, the writers just changed their character on a whim. Jesse's arc is the worst. He spends most of the show being a goofy retard but then randomly knows every technical in and out of running a lab because he cooked with Walt a few times. And then he becomes a super smart badass after hanging out with Mike one time. Suddenly he was solving problems that were stumping both Walt and Mike like coming up with the train siphoning heist or the magnet evidence room sabotage. It makes no sense and the change happened within a few months by the show's timeline.
out of context
cool music and a nice one liner to put you into Walt's headspace there
in context
Walt and Jesse are taking a break following their best cook yet. Jesse has spent the entire episode genuinely enjoying a virtually endless allowance to hang out with Jane, and Walt is going insane doing shit like pic related and obsessing over rot in the floorboards just so he can continue to be the man of the house. This culminates in him doing this confrontation that is cool in the moment but in hindsight was a retarded gamble that easily could've ended in that dude shanking Walt and driving off, emphasizing that Walt is addicted to being Heisenberg.
le epic music. In reality, this scene is retarded beyond belief. What's stopping the beaners from chopping his head right then and there? This whoel show is riddled with dumb shit like that.
lol trust me almost nobody can nowadays
Tells me everything I need to know
Brian Cranstons angry acting is so cringe.
"heisenberg" would be some germanic or roman deity instead
Werner Heisenberg wasn't Jewish, which is what I feel you're implying.
Walt quits making meth but then a tweaker buys a bunch of meth ingredients and Walt educates him not to buy everything at once in the same location then he gets pissed that new guys are encroaching on his territory and confronts them outside and tells them to fuck off and they leave. It's when Walter White dies and Heisenberg is born
thats not what im getting at, its a very lame alter ego because hes already a scientist nerd, he should pick an inverse of his beta cuck self.
Using a nazi scientist doesn't sound very pozzed
What makes this scene so epic?
Alpha male staring contest... and the other guy folded. Proving that White is moving up the food chain.
He absolute is.
Wife never respected him, coworkers never respected him even before he became some loser high school teacher, none of his family respects him.
