shooting the pre-warpers

Is this even Star Trek?

I now decalre this thread to be known as Friday's Child

pre warpers deserve death. they are basicly just rabid animals.

Where have all the admins gone?
and where are all the mods?

where's the street wise jannies to fight the rising odds?

The Picard has spoken! Kill all pre-warpshitters!

namai-wa berr-u

That includes B*jorans.

Friday night

still no Irish unification

Bajorans are honorary pre-warpers.

why would based northern ireland want the rest

Star Tron

wooden spaceships

Report to ore processing immediately.

The wooden spaceships were hundreds of years old. They had warp ships by the time the occupation happened.

Wood, if properly sealed, is actually a fine material for a ship. It is light and has a decent balance between tensile and compressive strength. Clad it in something that can block rays and micrometeorite collisions and you'll be fine

b-b-but le wood is ... le FLAMMABLE

you don't want open flames in an enclosed spaceship anyway

b-b-but le wood can splinter and then DEATH TOOTHPICKS

so lacquer and seal it

wa wa wa and gobbily goo goo

NOOOOO WHAT ABOUT LE HECKIN PRIME DIRECTIVINO!!!!

You can do both, just let them blow themselves up. Star trek is about compromise. we can both do the prime directive and do a genocide.

It would actually be more faithful to the prime directive to kill the attacking aliens and leave than do nothing and let them kill you and turn your corpse into a relic of their starfleet cargo cult.

i recently finished voyager for the first time after dropping it twice before. i'm glad i did. i lowkey love it now, but theres some real bullshit early on that will turn you off aside from the premise being somewhat wasted. lot's of great singled out episodes and character stuff though, which is worth all of it.

MATTTTTEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I've said that ITT for years

THe first two seasons are VOY are so bad that they put a ton of people off. The Kazon are the worst lingering antagonist in the series, just Klingons but more retarded and even less advanced and formidable. They're portrayed like bumbling buffoons whereas VOY should've faced an imposing enemy straight off the bad so there was a sense of danger and jeopardy for the crew.

VOY improves so much in season 3 and then dramatically in 4. It never holds the high level of consistency of TNG or DS9 after that but it's "bad" episodes are really just sort of middle of the road. There aren't a lot of complete stinkers.

YOUR ISHI COO ONEEE GAE SMASHU!

There aren't a lot of complete stinkers.

yea, exactly. i was actually shocked after having to sit through the warp 10 and the AI-Warhead (dreadnought) episode again, only to realize that were probably the worst episodes of the show. the warp 10 one is especially stupid, since it's not just lorebreaking but also premisebreaking, since the doctor just easily brought them both back, might as well just go through with it and reverse the DNA process after coming back to the alpha quadrant. either way, as i said, i'm glad i stuck with it. even the The Rock episode was kinda cool, thinking it would be a total cheese-fest prior.

quick reminder to give other dubs a try for shits and giggles. spice up a rewatch: youtube.com/watch?v=JShPVYFajpM

If people rub his lame bald head will they each get three wishes?

Nah VOY is great from s2 onward. S1 is weak but it's short and still has some good epis.

VOYAGER PREMISE

You never stop do you

KISAMAAAAAAAAAAAA

The Seska storyline had go away heat with me, as did the Kazon. And that shit doesn't end until season 3.

Terrible stuff all around.
The only interesting alien encountered in S1-S2 are the Vidiians and they don't get nearly enough screentime.

Yeah I think it's an underrated point

Voyager has a lot of mid-tier episodes but not a lot of all-out shitty ones like Threshold, which is at least a high concept sci-fi episodes despite the weirdness and poor execution.

Seska

How she held that much power over the Kazon is what bugs me. Is spoonhead pussy that good?

The whole dynamic of the Kazon being depicted as retards just lowers the stakes for the whole first two seasons.

Why not give them a more dynamic and intimidating enemy? Even someone like the Hirogen would've been way better

There are only 7 Seska episodes across three seasons and about 2 or 3 of those episodes she only appears for a scene where she speaks to a Maquis traitor. There are 2 Kazon episodes in s1 and only 2 Kazon episodes in s2 that aren't also Seska episodes. It's literally nothing, Voyagerager. You always post the same old tired shitposts no matter how many times it gets debunked. You never even watched Voyager outside of one or two episodes at best.

Vidiians

Should have been the main bad guys. A genuine threat and a nice homage to UFO.

Voyagerager

You've called me this before in other threads and I've told you how hilarious it is because I'm usually one of the guys defending VOY ITT.

I love VOY. It's just better once Insaneway lets her hair down.

Painful sweaty half-Klingon sex with Belanna

for me, it's klingon frizzy hair BLT

Not the specific fucking name, Reddit Detective Andy, but you've accused me of being some boogeyman that you feud with. And each time, I've not even been saying anything bad about Voyager really.

Anyway, I'm not going to humor your Poopdickschizo posting any more because you'll derail the whole thread. Going back to discussing things with non-insane posters.

but you've accused me

Apparently it's not just me seeing as someone else referred to you as voyagerager, schizo. Also you specifically said

You've called me this before

so don't try to lazy backpeddle.
